I had a Double QP while I was in Orlando for work and it was perfect for the moment. Fries were kinda stale though.

I too had a Double Quarter Pounder the other day.

It wasn't bad but it was no Bacon King or Whataburger Patty Melt.

Ya I never eat McD's and got a double QP Saturday and fries based on this thread.

I am disappoint - it's half the burger a Whataburger is for the same price. It's not even cheap anymore

Man I'd agree if the meals weren't within $.50 of each other - I guess what I'm saying is htf does McD's stay in business with plenty of other cheap, better quality fast food around?

I have no doubt that if I go back and get another DQP at my McDonald's I will probably be disappointed. The one I got was obviously made to order. 9 times out of 10 you're probably not actually getting a "made to order" burger like I did that night.

But I'm not an amateur. My food opinion is steeped in rich tradition. That DQP that night was good. Five Guys tier good. And I wasn't even drunk!

Because mcds is on every fucking corner. If I want something like what burger I gotta drive 6 miles but there are 3 mcds in a mile radius from me.
