I've only had a few Monte Cristos, but the jam thing threw me off. It was like the sandwich was in a great balance for lunch/breakfast and the overly sweet jam just negates the meat and makes it into a weird dessert. Now if they had covered that shit in a hollandaise or nacho cheese? Fuck yeah bro.

Whenever I see a place that would have a Monte Cristo they usually also have Clubs and Ruebens. Which I choose everytime. There's a place near my office that had monster club sandwiches like from an old school diner. So good.

My grocery store does a salted caramel hot chocolate with its store brand, and it's fucking amazing. There's a sort of bite/aftertaste to it that is similar to if you let some caramel melt in your mouth.Since its all cold out, dunkin donuts salted caramel hot chocolate is some good shit.
