my limited testing has red barron by a hair, but i did not test the kroger brand, i think b/c i wanted to test most pizzas ppl would have and some ppl don't have a kroger.
maybe i'll try a pie, kroger just sent me coupons for more red barron anyway.

Kroger brand is definitely top tier. Right up there with red barons in terms of quality for the price to me. The kroger tends to be a bit doughier, and the red baron's has a bit more crunch, so which I prefer often comes down to the phase of the moon. 98% of the frozen pizzas I buy are one of those two.
For some reason I just don't like di giorno. I mean I'll eat it if it's in front of me, but if you gave me a choice between a kroger pizza and a di giorno for the same price, I'd go Kroger every time.

My goto frozen pizza option has been the Digiornos at Publix for the last few years I would snag their stuffed crusts pizzas at 2/$10 and always felt like a solid value. Just recently they became 2/$12 and I can't help but hate Joe Biden everytime I see the price increase.

Got Godfather's Pizza. Pretty decent pizza and WAY better than the local shit. Giant pile of toppings and cheese. I could only get through two slices. GF had 1 and a small part of another.
The last local pizza I had arrived TWO hours late and was cold and hard when it got here. Pizza joint ONE mile away. I'm not normally rude and ill tempered, but the manager bought all of my ire, and so did the delivery guy. Manager tried to blame it on delivery, but it was clear it had been sitting and they forgot about it. It was a shit pizza, too. Crusts burned and rock hard, and cheap tasteless Sysco toppings.
I give Godfathers high marks. 3rd tastiest pizza we had this year.

Back in the 90's Godfathers was the best pizza you could get.
They had a 20 topping pizza that came with goddamn everything including full slices of bacon and large chunks of tomatoes. Historically it is probably the best pizza I've ever had. Too bad they fucked it up for some reason and closed a lot of locations to pursue their interest in.......gas station locations.

Their "Runza" sandwiches are alright, but I would recommend going the burger route, and as I posted the chili and cinnamon roll if they are serving it.

Digiorno to my wife and i suddenly took a quality hit this year and a price hike. Another victim of Bidens roaring economy.

i remember ranking screaming sicilian newmans, home run way higher than digorno (i think top spot actually) for the same price

I'm definitely in the home run category. It's one of the best frozen pizzas available, and is better than Kroger or Red baron. That said, it's not better enough that I'd typically pay the extra price. If I want a pizza in that price range I'll get a pizza from a restaurant.

Just grabbed off Google maps since we are having the pizza topic today. Coworkers like to split , end up like $10 to stuff ourselves stupid split 4 ways on a big pizza and their cheap cheese sticks that's like a 5lb cheese pizza unto itself.
We get the beggars which is all meat. Pictures maybe don't do it justice but shit is super dense, 2 slices is easily equivalent to eating a full digiorno solo or more.

yea red barron for me is the best of the best when factoring taste and just feasting (not eating) with amazing value, kroger will have 3/9$
and thats their HORRIBLE deals, they'll have every 3 months 4/10$
and if you reguarly buy red barron, they'll mail you the customized coupon (once a month, based on your habits) where you save an extra dollar or 2.
