I posted here awhile back how I've always heard of panda express, we finally got one in my area, and was disappointed when I actually had it mainly because there are no less then a half dozen chinese places within 3 miles of the panda express which are all better and cheaper. Well sure enough, panda express can't hang in the nola market, because just a few short years later its shut down now. I pity the fools who believe panda express is a viable chinese option. So much of my obesity is attributed to the delicious chinese food down here.

Panda express makes perfectly average Chinese food. But it's WAY too expensive. So odds are, in most cities of any decent size, you can either find better Chinese food for the same price, or similar quality food for cheaper.

You'd have to have some pretty limited options for Panda Express to be the best one. I'd eat there no problem if someone else is paying for it.

My 3rd grade teacher was a massively obese woman and she used to eat baby food as some sort of diet plan. I don't recall how long she did it but it didn't seem to work as far as I could tell.

As a Chinese foods expert, Panda Express (i had to try it once) is not bad, basically buffet style food. Would they ever compare to your basic Chinese food takeout? sure, if the takeout is that horrible. They'd never compare to any restaurant in a chinatown but that's like going overseas and eating at a Mcdees.

I have eaten at a McD's in the following countries:

Korea
Thailand
Japan
Germany
Italy
England
Belgium
Switzerland
France
Guatemala
Austria
Czech Republic

Those are off the top of my head there might be more. You would be surprised at what odd things they have on their menus. It's kind of a thing I do when I go to a new country is if I see one I have to try one.

Well i should rephrase that, certainly try the country specific menu at a Mcdee's once in a foreign land, but you shouldn't keep on going back there to eat if you're on vacation.

SPEAKING OF OREOS!

Did I talk about the Reese's Oreos?

I buy anything I haven't seen before if it's chocolate and peanut butter. Grabbed some mini Reese's Oreos, because obviously.

Mediocre. Crazy dry, made them unpleasant. They'd probably be delicious in the weird milk smooshed form some folks here like though.

In other convenience store snack buys.

Few pages back I talked about the Big's Frank's Red Hot sunflower seeds. Specifically about how bad they were. Flavorless "heat", almost medicinal. Awful. These on the other hand are pretty damn tasty. Good little kick to start, and a little more inside. I throw in a handful when walking the dogs and they're good start to finish, even the last couple that have just been soaking in my gross mouth still have a little of the flavoring when I crack them open.

The "Buffalo Style Ranch" ones are pretty tasty too. Though not really buffalo. Just a slightly tangier version of their normal ranch seeds.

These are pretty new I guess. Very fucking good. They're just normal Welch's fruit snacks in a ball of their peanut butter...concoction. Plowed through the entire bag start to finish despite intending to just eat a few. Both flavors are good. Apparently there's "Crunchy" versions out there somewhere too, I must have them. Crunchy peanut butter > creamy.

There's also yogurt ones that have been around a while. Same thing but yogurt. Even better. I could eat thousands of those motherfuckers. The PB&J ones get a little less delightful after a while, yogurt ones are just straight fire.

Panda Express is better than any Chinese buffet I've had, but worse than most any takeout place. The area I am in has shit for good Chinese places so it's the best option if I want Chinese for lunch or something.

As for Oreos, fuck double stuffed. The best part is the cookie, not the nasty sugar-plastic substance they put between them

The only thing I like at Panda is that Beijing Beef.

Thought you were an Indy guy. Journey is amazing pan-Asian cuisine, but it's 20 bucks. But infinite Alaskan Snow Crab legs!

Please don't crucify me! I don't like Oreos much either.

I guess Tim Tams have spoiled me for any other type of biscuit.

Oreos are a cookie, not a biscuit. We speak American in this thread.

I can't believe how many weirdos there are in this thread saying regular is better than double stuffed. The cookie part of the Oreo is something you tolerate to get to the sweet, creamy frosting in the middle. Therefore, more frosting = better Oreo. It is known.

Next we're going to have some hipster fucks saying they only eat Hydrox.

I don't even understand how Hydrox exists. Their product offering is such a terrible approximation of an Oreo cookie there is no price point that it makes sense to purchase them.

OH SHIT
Hydrox is the brand name for a creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookie that debuted in 1908 and was manufactured by Sunshine (later Sunshine Biscuits).[1] The similar Oreo cookie?introduced later, in 1912?was inspired by the Hydrox, yet Hydrox suffered from the impression of being the knockoff.

Man it must suck to get there first and have someone just make your own cookie so much better than you do.
