A) Yes that's why I said I don't know what the fuss is about.
B) Good to know. If I go back ill try something else. Thanks.

To me Chipotle was the originator. Back when I was your age the burritos were $4.25 and we had to walk uphill both ways to get them and that's the way we liked it! When I worked at Pizza Hut in college we would swap pizza for burritos with Chipotle (and for Blizzards with DQ) and we always felt like we made out like bandits. I think of Chipotle as the default to compare everything else to. There are things that I like at other Burrito restaurants: the green salsa at Qdoba, the fresh tortillas at Pancheros, free chips at Moe's. Overall I still think Chipotle's burritos are the best overall comparing all the chain burrito places.

For me, when it comes to burritos, they're my #3 choice locally - they're still great, but comparatively they're the last of the three to choose most of the time. (Although if I feel like barbacoa, they're the only option)

Tried a Culver's bacon double deluxe today. It was pretty good, but I rate 5 Guys better. I also tried the cheese curds. They are ok, but they seem like differently shaped mozzarella sticks to me. I keep wanting to dunk them in marinara sauce. The cement mixers are where it's at.

I agree with all of that, and culvers is still pretty great

I tried the cheese curds over Labor Day weekend thinking they'd be great. Meh. I'd rather just have a cold, unfried cheese curd.

I had Chipotle for the first time yesterday. Had a steak burrito with pinto beans, the white rice, corn salsa, sour cream, and cheese. I'm wondering if there is something better there because I did not get what all the fuss was about.
I used to eat Chipotle once every couple weeks and loved it. It had been about 10 months or so and my lady friend brought some home last week and it tasted really bad. We both agreed they changed something quite a bit. The corn salsa was not good, the mild tomato salsa was mush, chicken was not very good and too salty.

Have they changed owners or something recently? If that had been the first time I ate there I wouldn't go back. It was not good.

I am boycotting Chipotle because of their fear mongering ad campaigns about GMOs and antibiotics. Also the closest one is 3 hours away.

If you don't get the pork at Chipotle you are doing it wrong. Even top professional chefs agree.

Chipotle is the best of the burrito chains but no where near as good as an actual Mexican hole in the wall burrito joint.

I've never had any affection for Tabasco. I guess people grew up with it so they're acclimated to it, but I've had so many different hot sauces and peppers coming up. Tabasco is like light beer.

If you guys like Kcups, omg try making a better cup of coffee, imo the cheapest possible way to make great coffee will be based around this.
Amazon.com: Aeropress Coffee and Espresso Maker: French Presses: Kitchen Dining

while it won't create espresso (since it uses filters the crema/oils are blocked) it'll use heat and pressure to create a good single serve (or 2 cup) experience.

1.You need to use good water first, since coffee is 99% water so bottled or filtered
2. while you don't need freshly roasted beans, that are still piping hot, you should get WHOLE beans and grind them basicaly 30s before you brew, all the great flavors happen as you grind, so if you get ground coffee all that good stuff is gone by the time you open the package.
3. you could use the cheapest grinder available (10$ el cheapo grinder will do) unlike espresso where you have to fine tune a grind size, not really needed here.
4. Kettle, everyone has a kettle, if you don't have a kettle you have a pot, if you don't have a pot, holy shit, anyway don't pour boiling water into the thing yet. (boiling water on coffee will burn it) wait like 10s for it to go down to like 210f then pour.

What are your first two choices/suggestions?
Tijuana Flats is my favorite - but they're literally Central FL only for now. (they're a chain, but a mini-chain [also pricier and a bit more wide-arching, they do chimichangas/enchiladas and other "more involved" burrito variants)
Moe's is my #2
Qdoba would be #2 instead of Moe's, but none are within a reasonable distance from here. [talking literally having to go 45-50 min to get to Qdoba - Moe's is like 15-20 in comparison, Chipotle 20-25, TF 10]
