I buy refurbished products whenever I can. They typically go through a more rigorous testing process after being refurbished and you save yourself a good amount of money.

I'm a refurb fan as well. All of my tablets are refurbs, as is my Dyson vacuum, and several kitchen appliances.

For anyone thinking about getting a Kuerig machine...this is a hell of a deal

Cuisinart SS-700 Single Serve Keurig Brewing System - Factory Refurbished on eBay Daily Deals - $59.99

Its factory refurbished, but new it's $170 on Amazon. (MSRP is $365)

Amazon.com | Cuisinart SS-700 Single Serve Brewing System, Silver: Single Serve Brewing Machines: Coffee Makers

Great reviews on Amazon.

I'm thinking about ordering one to replace my current Kuerig
It's all shitty drip watered down coffee.

You won't find an Italian household without a Moka pot. If you want cheap but QUALITY coffee, buy one of these:
Amazon.com | Bialetti Moka Express 3 Cup Espresso Maker 06799: Stovetop Espresso Pots: Stovetop Espresso Pots

Moka pot - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Buy yourself a cheap grinder and some quality whole bean coffee and you are golden.
Amazon.com: KRUPS F203 Electric Spice and Coffee Grinder with Stainless Steel Blades, Black: Power Blade Coffee Grinders: Kitchen Dining
Amazon.com : Lavazza Qualita Oro Italian Coffee Whole Beans 2.2 Pound : Grocery Gourmet Food

Want frothy milk? Add this to the cart.
Amazon.com: HIC Stainless Steel Milk Frother, 14-Ounce Size: Electric Milk Frothers: Kitchen Dining

All of this will taste about 1000x better than any Keurig or variation of shitty drip style coffee.

I'd choose a french press over that thing. People get keurigs for the convenience not the taste and if you don't care about the convenience a french press seems to me to be the way to go.

I have a french press and a Kuerig. The Kuerig gets used quite a bit more. I just don't have time to jack with anything slower than a Kuerig on weekdays when I'm getting ready for work.

I do like using my french presson the weekends though when I have plenty of spare time.

I don't think anyone uses a Kuerig because they think it's the best possible method of brewing a cup of coffee, it's just the most convenient/fastest/least effort by FAR.

It's basically the microwave popcorn of coffee. There's a million better & cheaper ways to make it, but none easier, and it's still quite drinkable.

Carnitas (pork) or Barbacoa (beef, but handled similar to Carnitas) are the best options there for sure.
Yeah, I always used to get the Barbacoa until I realized that the pork was just far superior.

I haven't actually eaten at Chipotle in over a year though, so I don't know if they've gone downhill.

The Moka pot isn't all that time consuming. Hell, you could buy pre-ground coffee and it still tastes significantly better than drip. You put water in the bottom, fill the middle with grounds, put it on a burner. How difficult is that, really?

Moka Pot is less forgiving than a French Press. French Press you just grind and dump, pour hot water. Moka Pot, you can't just use a blade grinder, you actually need some kind of consistency w/ the pressure and how you force the vapor up there, along w/ tamping it too. While you don't need a super Burr Grinder for a Moka Pot, you can't just use el cheapo blade grinder.

Yesterday the wife was going out so for dinner I had a large fry, double whopper and two double cheeseburgers from BK for dinner. Felt like a goddamn king.

Hmmm well they stopped selling pork at my Chipotle wtf.
For good? I know my local Chipotle runs out of certain types of meat now and then due to supply issues. They push the whole "antibiotics free" meat thing, so (at least according to what they say) they don't have as large a supply chain and suffer meat shortages now and then. My Chipotle went without steak for several weeks a few years ago. Dark days, my friends. Dark days, indeed.

Today was splurge day for lunch, so I had two White Castle double cheese. So horrible, yet so damned good.
