I've been trying store brand Pizza Rolls. The ones from Kroger and HEB are just as good.

I fucking love pizza rolls.

Moe's sucks ass compared to Qdoba or Chipotle. Stop it.
The only good thing about Moe's was 10+ years ago when they would give you a Moerita in a to go cup and we could take it back to class and keep drinking. Heard they stopped doing it though.

I don't believe this. I have never had a store brand pizza roll that was nearly as good as Totino's. I don't have a Kroger or HEB near me to try, but I just can't believe they can even come close to a real pizza roll.

A good suggestion for a homemade fast food item that beats the shit out of any pizza roll out of the frozen food section. Buy some Texas toast, pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, peperoni, and maybe one or two veggies of your choice and basically make a grilled cheese sandwich with all the items. Be sure to be liberal on the use of butter/heat to give the toast a nice golden crisp and you've got a really good makeshift pizza.

There isn't really much to a French press. I wouldn't spend more than like 30-40 bucks on one.

For good? I know my local Chipotle runs out of certain types of meat now and then due to supply issues. They push the whole "antibiotics free" meat thing, so (at least according to what they say) they don't have as large a supply chain and suffer meat shortages now and then. My Chipotle went without steak for several weeks a few years ago. Dark days, my friends. Dark days, indeed.
Why did Chipotle stop serving carnitas?

Chipotle recently stopped serving carnitas in many of our restaurants. This shortage occurred because our animal welfare auditors found one of our suppliers to be violating some of Chipotle's core animal welfare standards, and we suspended all purchases from this supplier. This meant we were unable to supply more than one-third of our restaurants with carnitas.

Dunno but they said they haven't sold carnitas for months.

And yeah the store brand Giant/food lion pizza rolls suck compared to Totinos. I can eat 50 of those in one setting. Supreme flavor is amazing.

I swear those still exist - not a fan of pizza rolls so I don't buy them, but I swear I saw them in BJs or something quite recently.

Today was splurge day for lunch, so I had two White Castle double cheese. So horrible, yet so damned good.
Aren't 2 white castles still only like 1/3 of a normal burger? You're supposed to order those things by the dozen!

Moka Pot is less forgiving than a French Press. French Press you just grind and dump, pour hot water. Moka Pot, you can't just use a blade grinder, you actually need some kind of consistency w/ the pressure and how you force the vapor up there, along w/ tamping it too. While you don't need a super Burr Grinder for a Moka Pot, you can't just use el cheapo blade grinder.
Pretty much no on every count there with how to use a Moka pot. First, I use a cheap grinder exactly like what is listed on Amazon. Second, you do not tamp it at all. It tells you that right in the instructions. There's not enough pressure like a true espresso machine to force water vapor through it. You basically fill the coffee chamber full and screw the top on. Not very difficult at all.

Can one of you coffee aristocrats tell me what French press to buy? Thanks.
Amazon.com: bodum french press: Home Kitchen
yea just get any one of these Bodums, depending on your size requirements.

Starbucks sells rebranded Bodums, maybe you can find an on sale one or like buy a xmas edition one in January type thing, but by then it'll probably just be the same price as online anyway, cuz Starbucks probably just marking it up to high heaven.

2 other uses for a french press are to make loose leaf tea and to cold brew coffee, pretty good multitasker.
