Yeah say what you will about hipsters they tend to do things very well. They specialize in a field and really dedicate themselves to it. I wouldn't be shocked if a 120lb hipster in skinny jeans could out BBQ some old fat black man who just blindly follows the rules of BBQ passed down to him.

Just had an Italian Combo from Panera. 1000 calories, $9 dollars, and it was a fucking 4 inch by 4 inch panini.

Fuck Panera. Glad I didn't pay for it.

I haven't been to Q39 yet, it always looked just a tad bit hipster-ish for my liking.
When I went there were equal numbers of hipsters and young couples with really young kids /boggle

I didn't like their 'white bean cassoulet' that much, but the rest was pretty good.

Only reason we went there was that OK Joes had a line around the corner. The wait at Q39 was like 20m, and I'd wager a large portion of their business is people driving to Joes, seeing that it's busy as fuck, and driving around looking for another BBQ place.

I have gotten the best steaks at Outback outside of pricey steak joints. Food is always cooked how I want it and everything has good flavor.

I agree with you on Outback for chain steakhouses.
Plus I can eat entire bloomin onion by myself.

Paying for steak at a restaurant is the biggest waste of money ever. It's one of the easiest things on earth to cook for yourself so unless you're getting a real, dry aged bone in ribeye there is no reason to pay for steak at a restaurant.

Word - even dry aging isn't that hard (see Alton Brown's method) - however the time consuming nature is annoying.

Completely agree. It was someone's birthday and that's where they wanted to go. It sucked dick. Someone got sick and all they had was the salad.

Outback is the only chain steakhouse I'd ever order steak at. Anywhere else and I just get something else usually.

Had Taco Bell breakfast for the first time (LOL waking up in the AM). Got the sausage burrito and sausage AM crunchwrap. Both great. Crunchwrap had their chipotle sauce on it which was great with the hashbrown. The burrito was just like a jimmy dean sausage the length of a tortilla but that motherfucker was PACKED with egg and cheese. Like over flowing. Like probably 2-3 eggs in that bitch. It was great.

8.5/10 Taco Bell. Well done.

I worked at Outback from like 16 - 22 or so and still eat there if we have to go to a chain. Even after almost 20 years it is still consistent and perfectly passable for an inexpensive night out before a movie or coming back late and too tired to cook.
