Maybe, but there is a pizza place in Chicago that does a basic hand-tossed pizza and then they put another layer of dough on top of the sauce/cheese/toppings and crimp it with the crust... but it isn't thick like deep dish at all.

I generally don't stay up with current fitness fads but I thought the idea of cheat days was pretty much proven as a terrible idea. You don't have to eat 20 servings of Kale a day but doing that for 6 days a week then gorging yourself on 10,000 calories on Sunday is just retarded.
Just the opposite, people tend to stick to plans better if they have an "off" day. Everyone at work having delicious sweets but you can't, it makes it easier if you have a day when you will reward yourself.

The Rock knows how its fucking done.

In the Rock picture it looks like his are just literally two pizza doughs on top of each other with toppings on top. I guess he really likes his carbs.

And dieting always goes better for me when I have a cheat day. Whenever I think about a candy bar or a slice of pizza or some ice cream, I just tell myself "I'll have that on Sunday". Usually by the time Sunday comes around I have forgotten about it. Especially early-on in a diet the cheat day can be pretty outrageous but after a while it's just a day when you hit the drive through, drink a few beers, and maybe have a dessert of some sort. I worked with a nutritionist for a while and she made me do the thing where you write down everything you eat. I told her I would do it and be honest 6 days a week but on Sunday I was going to eat what I wanted and I wasn't going to tell her what I had. She was fine with it.

Believe it or not, the best fast food chicken strips are at Arby's now. At least at the local one here they never cook them ahead of time. It's always a 5 minute wait but they are always crunchy and hot as hell.
I always go to Dairy Queen for chicken for this exact same reason.

New Haven pizza is thin and greasy. It's not nearly as good as NY pizza. Then again, I grew up in NY and moved to CT 8 years ago. I live in Middletown and can safely say 98% of pizza in CT is pure shit. There is some good pizza in New Haven but it isn't better than a good NY slice.

Which places in Middletown? Illiano's is passable but still not what I would call good pizza. I haven't tried Mondo yet and Krust is just completely terrible.
Illiano's is gross. Pizzeria D'Avinci's are excellent, one popped up in my hometown (Hebron) there are a ton of them in smaller central/eastern towns. Closest to Middletown is probably Higganum or Cobalt.

DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT go to Alforno's in Old Saybrook. My company does their computer support, I won't go into details but because of an incident I will NEVER eat there.

Pizzeria D'Avinci is meh. There is one in Cromwell and I've gone to the one in Higganum a few times (used to live off Little City Road down there). They have decent grinders and the one in Killingworth is the best one I've been to but their pizza is not something I'd seek out. Also, I have to disagree on Illiano's being gross. You may not like it as much because you prefer the traditional super thin CT crust and Illiano's is closer to NY style but saying it's "gross" is just silly. Though it's not something I eat very often either.

The only beans I eat as a Cuban. They take a while to soften but if you make these at home you will never eat any other beans and think the same of them again.
