The Fast Food Thread

My wife just brought me home a triple w/ cheese from Steak and Shake. I love her. gotdam tasty burger

Steak n Shake is really good. Wish those were around these parts.

Had the XXL nachos from Taco Bell today. The XXL thing is not total bullshit, that is a healthy serving of nachos. Other than that nothing special, just normal Taco Bell nacho stuff.

I generally like Taco Bell nachos, but their chips are a total crapshoot. One day they will be fresh and crunchy and great and then another day they will be stale and horrid.

Steak n Shake has the best fucking shakes, stupid fucking diet.

Well bros I'm down 20 lbs so far. I thought I would be in killer shape if I got to about 5lbs less than I currently am but based on my stomach I'd say I need to lose about 10 more. Feels good to be so close considering I've been losing between 1-3 lbs every week.

I haven't found anything at all I've liked atSteak & Shake.

I haven't trustedTaco Bellnachos since their push for them in '09~; fuck those things gave me rage. Should have gone to Moe's that night.

Wendy'shas been on point lately; they changed their bread or at least the way they prepare the bread. Even their older sandwiches taste better than I remembered.
Buns -WIN
jr sandwiches beef or chicken that have jalapenos and taco seasoning -WIN
original asiago chicken sandwich -WIN- (rare instance of orig being better than spicy version)
ciabatta burger -WIN- I didn't care for the meat on this one, but the bread and fixings made for greater than average enjoyment

Burger Kinghas been striking out lately. Any sandwich that has lettuce on it gets overwhelmed by the lettuce.
Big King-EPIC FAIL- I like the Big Mac, but it's now at a time where it's not so big and needs an upgrade srsly. I had hoped that Big King would be it. There is no fucking way that thing could have passed any testing. It was just thrown out there. Patties are even smaller than their dollar burgers. again lettuce overrides.
Spicy Chicken-FAIL- I used to like their fakey chicken. But the price isn't right on this thing at all. Taste is off. We had to wait 5 min for them to cook one, which in itself not the complaint. The complaint is that the sandwich was obviously fresh and yet still sunk. at 3.75 it's not cheap. This thing should be $1, or less.

I'll need a ruling on if this is fast-food:

I was starving when we got to Costco today, and went to the luncheon counter. I had an all beef 1/4 hotdog (and a good one, garlicky like Nathans) and a 20oz. soda... $1.50.

A huge dog and a sodypop for a buck fiddy.

Some half-assed googling says: not fast food,but it is a pizza chain.I suppose someone could argue that it's a fast food pizza chain, but that's your call, not mine.

We've already ruled that all pizza is equal. It is known.

The chicken bake there is awesome. Think its less than 4 bucks and is very filling.

I saw that thing and it looked 'good', but I wasn't sure. I might have to give it a try next time.

Yep! My local Taco Bell brought them back. Going to put myself into a chili cheese coma if I keep eating them.

Oh they are good, that's all I used to eat when I worked at Costco as a poor college student on break.

Those fucks need to bring back the Crica 1999 Steak, Chicken and Santa Fe Gordita. Thinking about how good their food used to taste compared to what it has become is ridiculous.

The Costco food court ONLY accepts cash though, just be aware of that. No debit/credit cards of any kind.

But I also found out that when checking out buying all your normal stuff at Costco, you can tell the cashier to put any of their food court food items on your bill, you can pay for it with a card there, and then just take the receipt to the window to pick up your pizza, hot dog, polish sausage, or whatever.

Also, the polish sausage is the same buck fifty as the hot dog, and WAY better

no drive through = not fast food
