Well Chick-fil-a prides itself on it's customer service and overall "friendliness" so they're supposed to give enough of a fuck to take the damn sign down when it's not applicable. I'm with him there.
But having worked in a service position at one point in my lifetime, it sucks being bitched at over something you're powerless to do anything about and weren't responsible for in the first place.

If you were dealing with someone in a supervisor position, sure.
