That's a pretty low blow...It looks like something my wife could make
do you have kids?It looks like something my wife could make
Do you have the restaurant chain Cheddars anywhere near you? They do a badass Monte Cristo. Their version is deep fried, not just fried(some places use normal bread and just grill it like a reuben or something), and the crust/batter is something similar to funnel cake, with all the awesome ham, turkey & cheese inside. Then they give you a raspberry dipping sauce and top it all in powdered sugar. Its crazy good, but probably 1000 calories per bite. The Bennigan's around here closed up back when they went into bankruptcy in '08. I still tear up a little every time I think about their Monte Cristo. No other place around here has ever served one.
I think we have one up in Liberty off of 152? Ate there once before they moved, I remember a bunch of rolls served to the table?Do you have the restaurant chain Cheddars anywhere near you? There is a Cheddars in Liberty now, but it's very new, I think it just opened in the last 6 months. You might be thinking of O'Charleys, similar type chain and they had those awesome hot buttered yeast rolls they'd bring out to your table. I think they all closed down in the last couple years though, I know the one in Independence did(but coincidentally enough, the Cheddars in Indep. opened around the same time, it's less than a mile from my office)I think we have one up in Liberty off of 152? Its basically half breakfast sandwich half dinner sandwich. Do you not put jam on your toast? That looks really good but I don't understand why you'd want a raspberry dipping sauce
I've been their twice. The HellBurger is pretty awesome.Manager is taking us allRay's Hell Burger - Burgers, Gourmet Burger Recipes<-- there on Friday. It's supposed to be off the chain. We'll see, I will report back. I haven't had a burger in over a month so I am fucking primed and ready. And they have tots. I haven't had tots since I was in Texas years ago.
On a side note, why in the fucking fuck can't these local places take a decent picture for their website? The burger on the front page of that site looks awful. Seriously, pay some high school kid like 100 bucks and get it done. Or just turn a fucking lamp on or something.
