I live in the second largest county in Florida and when the first Sonic opened here, it had HUGE lines for at least the first couple weeks. There are tons of other options here, but people get hyped for a new thing, I guess. I finally tried it like a year later and it was shit-tier fast food. I don't get it.

I don't eat fast food much, and it's not like one drink will kill me.

Surprisingly enough, I don't really care for sweets at all - I'd eat a steak over ice cream any day. I know there are diabetic guys out there that carry around candy and can't drop the stuff but I've never done that. When I was diagnosed I was eating a lot of fast food, but also was heavy into body building - I think it was mostly poor genetics (runs in the family) that got me on this one, and I made stupid choices.

That happened here when Jack In The Box came to town a few years ago. Lines of cars stretched around blocks and out into major streets. Police had to get involved to direct traffic. For Jack In The Box (which is a shitty as shit-tier fast food gets)

Even funnier is we don't have any DQ's around here that serve food, just ice cream. So I have never experienced that either.

In terms of shitty fast food DQ is pretty good. Personally I usually just opt to pay a few bucks extra and eat actually good fast food though like 5 Guys or Penn Station or something.

Sonics must have bad quality control because the one near me has excellent food. It's also the greatest ordering system imo.

I love that about Panera too, just order online, and walk in/out the store. Don't even have to speak with anyone, your shit is just sitting there on a shelf waiting to be picked up.
