All the Pho I have ever had including the 5+ years I was with a Vietnamese girl straight from Vietnam was more like a soup than a stew. At least in my opinion. Stew is very little liquid and none of the Pho I have had fits that bill.

Whoever suggested that Pho is a stew doesn't know what stew is. Very simple.

Pho and bahn mis are great though the high concentration of hipsters that eat at the Vietnamese place my wife and I like definitely detracts from our meals there.

Yes fine it's more soup really, it was just airways extremely thick because of all the veggie stuff and meat byproducts shoved in there. I tend to think of soup as more liquid and stew as more other shit even though I guess it's not the technical definition.

I do, I just don't sit next to fucking garbage. Do people in Portland actually not put garbage in those? Never seen people actually not be assholes and not shit them up. Plus fucking Bee's.
