I have heard people say that they are dry here and never got it but then a couple weeks ago I got a Double Quarter Pounder and the patties were dry. Maybe it's because they had been in the fridge for too long or something. It's not something that I see normally, but I do know what people mean now.

Agreed with this. The flavor is not quite what I expected and I'm not sure I like it or not. Probably won't purchase again. Cape cod chips are so addictive.

In high school I worked at a McDonalds. When the meat is dry its because its been sitting in the "warmer" to long. They cook and store the meat for a certain time, a couple hours I believe.

So Bros, I'm still new to the Seattle area so I use Yelp a lot for food. Was out with the family and I see it says an A&W is close by. Wife and I are feeling like something new so we decide that over Wendy's.
Now now, don't get too rustled. I was craving the supposedly amazing root beer! But we get there and in its place isn't an A&W at all, but a Dairy Queen!
Took the opportunity to try out a 1/2lb flamethrower burger. Because of this thread I was not unprepared and had an idea of what to get. Was not disappointed at all, and will go back again for it. Wife enjoyed the chili cheese dog.

When I was in the Navy we used to eat a ton of top ramen and mac and cheese with canned tuna fish mixed in. Hamburger Helper is, generally speaking, a step up from that but not much. Without the nostalgia, even a Cheeseburger Mac with well seasoned meat will probably taste like garbage.

Horseshit. Done right it is the best thing ever. Although it is made better with big noodle mac and cheese, good beef but you can't use that no fat shit, and velveeta.
