Sour Patch Kids are good, but I prefer gummy candy over the chewy stuff like sour patch / swedish fish. I'm not a big dessert guy at all, but I still really like candy like that and Skittles, Starburst, etc.
Work has sour skittles once and awhile, can't not eat a bag anytime I see them

I don't really like sweets at all, baked or candy, but I love some goddamn sour patch kids. My tongue ain't no pussy mccheese, I'm talking about those 3-5lb. bags.

Even just using the sonicare toothbrush is pretty helpful. At least my dentist stopped nagging me about flossing when I started using the sonicare even though I still didn't floss. I think the cavity thing has a lot to do with genetics as well. I have had I think 2 or 3 cavities in my 38 years and it's not because I'm meticulous about brushing and flossing.
I'm 37 years old and never had a cavity. I floss once a year? lol

I think it would suck badly to be a dentist in Montana just because of the popularity of Copenhagen.

Aint nothing like pulling out mad chunks of 1/2 digested beef from your teeth with a 1/2 yard of floss after a steak dinner.

My not flossing has nothing to do with growing up, it's not recommended for me. I have no enamel on my teeth (genetic, never had it to begin with) and I have to use extra soft bristles when brushing. I was told as a child to not floss and use the water pick and it's just something I've done all my life...I couldn't even tell you the reasoning at this point but no dentist has ever corrected me when discussing it so I've never thought much of it.

I use a water pick when i wake up and at night and I have to brush after every single time i eat or dink anything that's not water.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck that.
Eh, I've done it since I've been like 8 so I don't even really think about it anymore. Sometimes I can't do it right after, like if I go out to eat it's just not practical to carry a a tooth brush on me so I keep mouth wash in the car/glove box with a travel tooth brush and go to town real quick if it's possible.

Almost no enamel represent - not that teeth are a frequent conversation - but first time I've heard of someone else with it. [supposedly it's not THAT rare though, like 2% or something]

My dentists have never given me similar instruction though... wonder if yours was an odd one or mine were unfamiliar of how to properly handle it...

Could have been an odd one and no other dentist was going to give me counter advice to brushing as frequently as I do, probably. With zero protection for my teeth I've only ever had 3 cavities but one was bad and my tooth cracked down to the root and got infected which then set into my lower jaw bone. I got a dry socket on top of that infection and missed a week of work because of the pain. I've had a lot happen to me over my life but I've never felt pain that intense before and hopefully never will again so I do everything I can to take care of them. Eventually they will break down and I'll get them all pulled and get implants but not for a long time to come....because fuck the dental worlds pricing scams.

Yea, completely shattered one of my wisdom teeth (guess once they came in I wasn't familiar with brushing that far back and did a lousy job) - I can completely relate - fortunately it was the one that needed to be removed because it was trying to ingrow so it was kismet though. Hurt like a devil when it was occurring though.
