No Id never pay for blue apron. it is too expensive. I get it as a gift.
Please, PLEASE, PLEASE let this unfold into some J49-esque tale where McCheese is giving handjimmers for meal plans. Is your blue apron delivered by a guy named Wolf?

Man, I need to find a literally "sugar daddy" like that... I love doing Plated occasionally, but it's too expensive for me to justify getting it regularly.

I wish Blue Apron had there services all around the US. I have a free trial ,and I can't even use the damn thing.
Plated and Hello Fresh might be - basically all of them do some sort of free/deep discount trial to start off.

Homechef and PeachDish apparently are others too + a bunch of diet related ones. (New ones to me, I opted to do a search after to see if there were others I'd not seen advertised)

It's hard to believe one wouldn't be near you. Plated was a great experience the couple times I've used them.

Anyway, I don't own a microwave by choice. If I have a microwave, I'll eat too much junk food.
The rationale behind this is hilarious and is a typical golden quote by McCheese.

The real problem though is you go on to say you eat out 4 times a week. I don't know your weight/medical history but one has to wonder what's true and what isn't.

He only eats once a day though. Granted, if he ate more than once a day, he might not be so hungry that he can't wait for the oven to heat something up.

Blue Apron seems kind of cool, but I actually enjoy shopping for ingredients every weekend. Fuck. I'm old.

Eating out a lot does not equal being fat and unhealthy. Learn to choose better options when you eat out, bro!

Are you really lecturing someone on choosing better options? You're the king of bad eating choices. I mean, it's admirable and impressive what you can gulp down, don't get me wrong.

I'm not trolling, and I have never trolled nor will I ever troll this thread. I'm offended at the very thought of it! I can eat a lot, but it doesn't mean I eat like that every day. If you've ever read my posts in the weight loss thread you'd know that I'm very conscious of calories and although I might binge on junk food now and then, I largely eat really healthy, low-calorie stuff to balance it out.

And yes, I'm serious about making better choices when you eat out. If you go to Chick-fil-a, get some grilled chicken nuggets instead of a fried spicy chicken sandwich and fries, for example. There are TONS of low-calorie/healthy options in fast food places nowadays.

Dude, going to chic-fil-a IS the bad choice. Why the hell you gonna go to a fast food joint for a salad? So you can pay $10 for shitty "health" food?

When I go to a steakhouse I ain't ordering the iceberg wedge, and if I'm making the decision to go to Mickey D's you better believe I'm getting some jalapeno doubles and a McChicken. Otherwise I'd just go get much better quality stuff at a supermarket.

I doubt the grilled nuggets are that bad. As long as you don't pair it with an XXL order of fries.

12 grilled nuggets are 200 calories. I usually get a double order (24 nuggets) plus a diet soda and that's a tasty meal.

That Blue Apron thing is interesting, as I'm lazy as fuck and spend ten bucks if I decide to get fast food anyway. However, since there's the part about me being lazy as fuck, there's no way I'm taking all those ingredients and actually cooking them. And I wouldn't mind having them for lunch at work, which would necessarily include making them ahead of time and then reheating them anyway. So my question is, are there places that make pre-cooked meals that you can just microwave? And for around that price? I'm not asking for people to do the research for me, as I can google around myself obviously, but in previous searches I'd never encountered Blue Apron, so maybe someone already knows of a service like that, and whether it is good or not.

There are several things to consider beyond calories when eating out. It's virtually impossible, for example, to eat many places where the sodium content is low, for example. The chicken nuggets at Chick-Fil-A (8 count) does have only 270 calories, but it also has 1080 mg of sodium. That's nearly half of the recommended sodium intake.
