Man I did not know I would strike a nerve with McCheese on my offhand "fancy" comment.

All the italian chain eateries are like that. The servers try to gussy the place up by bringing wine samples to the table, the prices are fairly outrageous, the interior looks like an upscale restaurant, etc. I think if the place dropped the "pleb fancy" look, and instead was a more casual experience they would do better.

I have no idea on their sales numbers, I was just pulling the assumption out of my ass that they were doing B1G1 because sales were down.

I don't even know what he's saying. Is he saying Red Robin is better than 5 Guys or that it's not? Because 5 Guys is the better choice, more so in recent years with Red Robin being fry nazi's and being dicks about giving out fries.
I love 5 Guys, but Red Robin has better burgers. Sorry, it's a fact. To be fair, they are considerably different styles I think. 5 Guys tends to be kind of greasier "dive" burgers (at least the one around here), whereas Red Robin has more traditional, sit-down style burgers. While I tend to enjoy Red Robin burgers more, especially since I like a lot of the variety they have where you can get different kinds of sauces, cheeses, and breads depending on which burger you order, if I just want a simple, greasy, bacon cheese burger or something I'd go to 5 Guys.

No nerve struck. I'm not sure where you'd get that from my response. I agree that all of the sit-down Italian places take it a little far with the wine samples, atmosphere, etc. I was just confused why you specifically called out Olive Garden as being fancy, when the other big chains do pretty much the same stuff. Your second post clarified it.

It's because many Italian chains deliver a dining experience more closely in line with their atmosphere and Olive Garden is a lot of lipstick on a very ugly pig.

Bros, in my fast food fast I missed out on the sriracha quesarito, but I just went to T-bell for lunch and had the new crispy chicken quesadilla and that shit is bangin. Top 10 t-bell item of all time, maybe even top 5

Never heard of Bravos!, but I maintain that Olive Garden and Red Lobster belong with Cheesecake Factory, Macaroni Grill, Maggiano's, and others like them. How is the food any better at Cheesecake Factory than Olive Garden? I've had several pasta dishes at both places, and they are practically the same in terms of taste and quality.

*Edit* I suppose I should add a note that some ranks could move up or down based on individual location variations, as you'll certainly find Olive Gardens that are awesome and Olive Gardens that are shitty, depending on age, location, and staff.

*Edit2* If you think Five Guys (Grey) belongs in the same tier as Red Robin (Orange), you don't know what a good burger tastes like. Sorry. There is a clear step in quality between the cafeteria-style casual places in the Grey and the more traditional casual dining places in the Orange.
Bravos is good. Probably the best lasagna of any chain italian place I know. Probably pretty much on tier with Carrabas. Though I consider Maggianos better than both.

Saw this on a website. Not available in my area yet but I hear it's in Michigan and Maryland. I don't expect it to have real ghost pepper heat, but damn it looks tasty. I guess the sandwich has a spicy chicken filet on a red jalapeno bun with diced jalapenos, cheese, onions, and a ghost pepper sauce. Sounds awesome.
I always sort of envision McCheese as a white version of this guy. I'm wondering now if my local Wendy's has this, and if I can get it for lunch today. I'll report back later!

I had to google Zoodles and it looks like they are noodles made out of vegetables? So one of his ingredients is vegetable puree? Plus I can clearly see vegetables all over that dish. JUNK FOOD MY ASS

Dude, he didn't put edible vegetables anywhere on any of those dishes, he just put a couple of garnish "veggies" that nobody ever eats anyway. Literally a few leaves. The rest is all junk food.

They had those in America way back with the McPizza, if I recall. I watched a special on all of McDonald's crazy shit once. It was awesome.

I'm going to PF Chang's tonight for the first time ever. I can't wait to be underwhelmed!

I'm sure you'll enjoy it. P.F. Chang's is squarely in the blue level of my definitive quality pyramid.

P.F. Chang's frozen meals for 2 from the grocery stores are good and are usually around 5 or 6 bucks. Forgot to add they have P.F. Chang appetizers in frozen aisles too. The vegetable egg rolls are also good.

Get Lettuce Wraps for an appetizer and I love their Chicken & Eggplant with Brown Rice.

The Ring of Fire sauce at PF Chang's is legit. Place isn't bad at all for a chain. Perfectly acceptable.

Maybe it is the region, but here is VA, Five Guys is testably better than Red Robin. Everything is better, the burgers, the fries at RR are bland as fuck. Red Robin has onion rings that I would probably kill a man for, so there is that. But in a burger taste test, Five Guys would win ERRY DAY
