So I got this at the store the other day. I don't think I've ever been this disappointed in a meat product before. It literally tastes and smells like dirt. Pretty much exactly like dirt. Not even the slightest hint of salami or cheddar flavor, the only two things it's supposedly made out of. Just plain awful. One of the worst things I've ever eaten.

That reminds me, there's this one older dude at my home bar that makes his ownSoppressata(Supersod). He hangs it to cure in his garage and once or twice a year he'll bring some to the bar to share.
Holy fuck. Shit is crazy delicious. You're supposed to eat it on crackers or whatever, but when it's sliced nice and thin I just sit it on my tongue. It pretty much melts in your mouth. It's like if all the best salamis in the world got together and enacted a rigorous Salami Eugenics program to breed only the greatest and most tasty piece of meat to shove in your face.
He said you can get a sort of similar effect if you just buy the best salami from your local place and let it sit in the fridge for weeks. Haven't tried it yet.

I haven't had a good anything from McDonald's in many years. The breakfast is almost always fucked up or just off tasting. Maybe it is just every McDonald's in VA. The one close to my house stinks like bad oil or something, I don't know what, but it constantly has an offensive odor. I can't imagine ever eating that shit.
