I'm thinking of trying Culver's soon and going FULL FATTY. Any recommendations? (obviously cheese curds)

Why do Wendy's chicken nuggets still taste like soap?
Your local Wendy's doesn't change their fry oil like they should. Old oil tastes soapy

How to Tell if Your Frying Oil Needs to Be Changed
he surest way to determine that oil has degraded to the point of discard is when food begins to have an "off" odor or taste. This may manifest itself as a bitter taste, especially a bitter aftertaste. The food may also taste soapy.
Don't eat at that Wendys anymore, if they can't be bothered to change their oil at a decent interval, what other shortcuts are they taking in food prep and general sanitation?

Too bad you have to hike 10 miles through the Mall of America to get to it...damn thing might as well be in Canada for all the good that does

Nah, the MoA isn't that big really where you cant get anywhere you need to go, quickly. I can be in their movie theater within 5 minutes of parking out in the ramp and the main food court is right below that.

Not eating out per say, but was kinda impressed with a couple recent items. One was king supers near the deli meat has some pre flavored meats. Most were bullshit, all overpriced. But I saw the Korean Kalbi beef on markdown. For $4 was quite a happy breakfast. Basically salisbury steak in a rich sauce.

For those that ever have assorted bars for work/snack, the new Cliff bar Chocolate Almond Fudge (or brownie?) (sounds like 5 similar flavors but this was labeled new) Was pretty amazing, I have a hard on for mazipan and while not the same closest I think I'll come. And I'm a sucker for any super dark/rich fudge/brownie type concoction. Like unfinished hot brownies from oven with spoon is a fav 1/year splurge.

On the almond front someone else here or maybe it was some costco thread mentioned Almond cake at costco. Think I found it, it's the refrigerated big cake and not a smaller bakery/boxed item? @ 16$ I was hesitant to try without more intel. Is there mazripan in it? Is it just typical cake with just the almonds on top or what makes it a fricking $16 cake. (I was resistant to the apple lattice they had that looked incredible but was $10. As a cheap bastard Kings Private selection pies out of the managers special and eaten solo in 1-3 days is where it's at.)

My wife and I tried the fried cheese curds because I was all excited about them. Really though, I'd just say average. Love Culver's burgers and fried chicken though.

I tried it up in Milwaukee and was not impressed, their burgers are really bland.

I did like their concrete mixers or whatever they are called. Pretty hard to fuck up ice cream though.

Shouldn't there be 48 schoolgirls in that picture? There's only 25.

NGT48 is a splinter group of AKB48(which does have 48 girls) which started 10years? ago. This is actually the 4th splinter. Why are the names fucked up? AKB48 stands for Akihabara48, anime town or whatevver, basically Brooklyn48.
