I would agree in the past. But these days the ruffles one are barely seasoned. Half the time the chip looks like a regular ruffles chip.

I think any discussion about overall nutrition should be disallowed in this thread. This is the fast food thread not the lettuce and radish thread.

hm, not sure when i got it in my head that corn was healthier than potato, but i've believed it for awhile. further googling specifically looking at corn chips vs. potato chips rather than the vegetables in their raw form is pretty much a draw. each type seems to hold particular advantages.

i've heard anecdotally that potatoes are one of the worst foods for weight gain, due to starch content, but am unable to find anything specific comparing this aspect WRT chips.

Ya they do and they are solid. Pick up their Utz brand French onion dip with them.


Dunno I love Salt n Vinegar chips and Sour cream and Chedda Ruffles too.


Only chips I don't care for our BBQ plain lays but I'll still eat em.

Helluva is the superior french onion dip. But homemade dip using Knorr Leek soup mix is my favorite.

Well I can't get that here in DC that I know of and I agree about Knorr.



Also Herrs > Utz


p.s. checked and costco carries a giant tub of it so inc heart attack.
