The Writers just really dropped the ball, Arrow going crazy from healing would have made his character pretty interesting for a few episodes and Roy/Diggle were pretty funny/good as a duo. Arrow should have had a little more dialog with Ras also. Palmer is the most interesting on the show at the moment and his scenes are getting ruined. Atleast Thea is decent now and Manu is coming back to save the day

Whos the guy between the graves?
guy between the graves is either roy which doesnt look like roy or a new character. im guessing that is sarah's grave? maybe det lance goes to visit her grave and somebody followed him?

I just figured Eddie is going to be Reverse flash and Wells is Professor zoom, but who knows. Im curious how much present day Wells actually knows, his character has been awesome so far and going to be interesting how everything plays out, I dont think hes going to end up being the crazy Reverse Flash, I think thats Eddie
Cisco just doesn't have Wells real blood sample, he's a genius from the future I'm sure he would have considered that already.
Wells is the only Reverse Flash and he is Eobard Thawne, they hinted at this during "the man in the yellow suit" when Wells makes a point of pointing out Eddie Thawne is in the room and later when Eddie himself asks why he didn't kill him. He didn't because he's his ancestor.

Cisco and Joe never thought that it was "child" Barry's blood. What they were looking at is that the blood was from a version of Barry that is significantly older than the Barry in the present.

But let's say for arguments sake that he did not say it could not be current Barry... still brings back the question... where is _that_ Barry?

Keep in mind that the paper still says "Flash is Missing"...so where is that Flash? Also the Barry that exists in the present does not have the speed capability to create a time warp event. So that again rules out the current Barry.
I can't answer the question of where future Barry is (possibly lost in the speed force?), but I have to get Chuk's back because we always give him a hard time about not paying attention to details. I just watched that scene again, and after Cisco tells Joe that it is Barry's blood, Joe says that they already knew Barry was there. After the techy talk about the protein in the blood, Cisco says (directly quoting), "These levels were way too high for an 11-year old. This sample is from Barry as an adult." Cut away with dramatic music. That's it, nothing about him being older than he is now, just that he was definitely not 11.

Possible theory.....
Eddie does become one of the reverse flashes, he's the one who comes back in time to go after Barry's mom (cause I suppose he goes batshit crazy). Barry comes back to fight him.
Our good wheelchair bound professor is a subsequent reverse flash (i.e. professor Zoom) who gets Eddie's reverse flash costume from the flash museum in the future. Utilized/manipulated the residual speed force within the suit to get his own super speed, comes back independently of Eddie in order to roll the "I have to make the Flash a better hero so he can prevent the red sky/crisis."

The action wasn't so derpy in this one. Although, I'm curious, could a mushroom cloud get that close to them and not hurt them?

edit: He does have an invisible force field around him, that extends to people when he's carrying them. And it gets more powerful the faster he's going. But I've only seen it work on physical attacks and not energy. I also read on the wiki the same thing. Am I missing something here?

A thing to remember, an explosion like that would produce a shock wave prior to the "explosion proper" hitting them. That shock wave, if it his a protective field, may have well simply accelerated him faster.

Second, whereas it showed a traditional style mushroom cloud we know it didn't produce an actual thermonuclear explosion inclusive of the mass of Raymond (because Raymond will survive it..) it was probably shunting excess mass and converting that to energy. So it wasn't a full on nuke.

this was the intro to the entire run of the series.
In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find them... maybe you can hire... The A-Team.
as was this
Narrator: Dr. David Banner, Physician/Scientist, searching for a way to tap into the hidden strengths that all humans have. Then an accidental overdose of gamma radiation interacts with his unique body chemistry. And now, when David Banner grows angry or outraged, a startling metamorphosis occurs.

[while trying to change a tire during a thunderstorm, David changes into the Hulk]

Narrator: The creature is driven by rage and pursued by an investigative reporter.

David Banner: Mr. McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

[McGee witnesses an explosion from a building]

Narrator: An accidental explosion took the life of a fellow scientist and supposedly David Banner as well. The reporter thinks the creature was responsible.

Jack McGee: [voice-over] I gave a description to all the law enforcement agencies. They got a warrant for murder out of it.

Narrator: A murder which David Banner can never prove he or the creature didn't commit. So he must let the world go on thinking that he too is dead, until he can find a way to control the raging spirit that dwells within him.

Unless writing actually goes to shit Well's shoud have a good grasp where Eddie loses it. This show is killing it because you have 10 characters with no idea where theyre going

Ok so I recently made it through Arrow, and Flash all the way up to the current episode.

God these shows are terrible, but I can't look away because I do like DC. Every once in awhile I'll get a cool gem like Heatwave, and Captain cold bouncing dialogue off each other, and it's worth it.
But the rest of the time i'm usually like FacePalm.

I really wish the shows had better writers, because the production value is very good. Ah well.

Here's a question, wtf is up with the holding cells at Star labs. They are putting these people in tiny little cells with nothing to do, and no food forever. That's some cruel as shit.

At least Argus puts them to work when Arrow catches them.

Might as well just kill them, what they do is much worse. No running water, No visible bathrooms, no way for them to clean themselves, nothing to do at all.

Their catching so many meta humans now, they will have to hire a staff just to feed them all.

Yup, i just re-watched that scene again as well... so i agree with this. But i'm still not sure where that Barry went, i can only assume after his fight with Wells, he ran back to the future, but then the newspaper still says Flash missing. Guess stuck in speed force it is.

Skys are red. Its an allusion to any of the crisis events.
Flash missing, could be hes on Earth 2 meeting Jay Garrick. Could have died/merged with the speed force while fighting the Anti-monitor, etc.

Some thoughts on Wells/Cisco.

Cisco lied. He adores Wells. He was not willing to admit the blood belonged to Wells.
So, he is going to personally confront wells about it himself, later.
Wells will then "kill" Cisco with either the speedforce, or in an "Accident". Probably as the season finale.

We then a get a new reveal that he survived as he becomes Vibe outright with powers.

O lord not Vibe.

who made the cosmic treadmill in the original Crisis? Cisco invented the current Treadmill which appears to be evolving into that.

BTW there is allot of reverse Flashes in the DC continuity.

Zoom is definitely some amalgamation of Eddie Thawne and Dr. Harrison Wells. If you look at the original Zoom, he starts off as the detective that Eddie plays in the show, and then is paralyzed by Grodd which matches up with the Wells character.

CW has done an amazing job at creating new characters. Diggle and Cisco are awesome, I hope they dont ruin it by making Diggle Green Lantern like some have mentioned.
