There's no way Diggle is a Lantern LOL. But you are correct they have an amazing cast on both shows, with poor soap opera writing. Which makes the actors even better that they can sell that crap with a straight face.

Wish they could transfer the writing staff of the JLA animated show over to these shows.

Some of the writing on these shows really is awful, but there is a lot of really cool shit going on and I'll be watching them for the foreseeable future.

The production value is pretty fantastic especially for flash.

She wasn't a murderer or anything that would warrant being locked up supposedly indefinitely. In fact, she was dropped into a really shitty situation. They could at least drop a single line about wanting to rehabilitate the locked up meta humans, or get them to join them, or something... annnything but just throwing away the key as if these people murdered and raped a thousand children.

Its a huge plot hole and apparently on arrow he left slade locked up in in a cell with nothing to die. Shitty writing and don't give that BS about it being a comic.


Apparantly locking people up in isolation with no food is humane because its a comic..... at this rate im starting to root for Olliver or Barry to die

I agree that the writing is pretty terrible sometimes, but the characters are often compelling plus I do generally like comics and stuff so I'm still watching even so.

Yea, I've pondered on the whole lifetime isolation sentence without a trial. It is a shit move, but mostly it's just bad writing. No due process, evil. Isolation, evil. Life sentence, harsh but a few of them deserve it, and if this was an entity like the US military they'd probably get that sentence regardless.

Pied Piper escaped, peek a boo is locked up, Wells has shows there is others locked up. Olliver put slade in an underground cell with nothing on a deserted island. Im a massive nerd but letting stuff pass because (Comic/Superhero) is getting terrible

I could probly buy that since it's an Argus instillation that someone is taking care of Slade. But holy shit that is long way to fucking go just to feed the poor guy haha.


The Star Labs jail is ridiculous tho. Lets just put these people in a little hole, and hopefully the next time we check on them they will be dead covered in there own waste. If they weren't crazy before they certainly will be if they escape.

other people have been locked up, but who is being kept there now? because if its just one or 2 people, its not such a chore to feed and provide some sort of latrine for them. i am not saying its right for them to keep people locked up there, but the alternatives are much worse. as we saw at the end of last episode. general kirgen is still out there keeping an eye out for metahumans.

Who gives a fuck if everyone else they locked up indefinitely with no plan beyond that died or escaped? They were still locked up indefinitely with no plan.

I am loving the show almost every single week, but sometimes you just have to accept shit is stupid or poorly done and move on. You know this and can accept it, you stuck with Walking Dead for all this time.

what you call cheese i call classic television, but to each his own. regarding the "prison" at star labs, it doesnt matter to me, but people are getting all butthurt because their comic book show has some plotholes like you would find in a comic book. i pointed out that even for a comic book adaption there are only a few people being kept there and there is no indication that they are being starved and having to resort to eating their own poo to survive

Yeah, solitary confinement is pretty inhumane. Combine that with a tiny cell, nothing whatsoever to do, no contact whatsoever with the outside world, etc. and it's about 3x worse than the worst prison. That's pretty fucked. I am sorry, but all these characters would have a huge ethical problem with this in real life, and while I can usually let a lot of stuff pass, this one annoys the hell out of me and it's all I can think about when they are down there or going after a meta human. I don't care about the alternative or them being dangerous, it still doesn't change the fact that these characters, these people, basically anyone but the worst and most extreme Nazis, would never really inflict this kind of treatment on any living thing. One single line about rehabilitation or just even that they can't keep them locked up forever or hell, even have Cisco bringing in a bunch of books for one of them, just let the audience know the team aren't a bunch of sociopaths.

Also, how dangerous is some vulnerable, gullible young thief girl? How about compared to someone that has been locked up unjustly in inhumane conditions and then gets free one day? They are going to care only about a single thing the day they all get out at once, and it's gonna happen. Annnd if that's why they are doing this, that is lazy cheap writing.

you guys are going to make me start taking crazy medicine. jesus stop with the speculation, do you see anyone going crazy or starving or shitting on the floor because of a star labs cell? no you dont. at the end of last season of arrow did anyone cry for poor slade sitting in a prison cell under a deserted island? unless you see these guys doing those things you are imagining, then dont worry about it. cisco has them all frozen cryogenically with his cold gun. move on.
