Except they clearly show his daughter as a hostage at the end of the episode, and they made it clear in the same episode that Wells might be up to no good by showing him looking at the group with a sinister grin as they were not looking
Him saving Barry, who barely needed saving, and using Dr light is just part of a plan.
Why would he be in Earth 1 to begin with. Why would he risk going after Zoom, and leave his daughter in danger. Hes being manipulated by Zoom to infiltrate their group.
And like I said, I doubt that Zooms end game is as simple as kill Barry.

Zoom could just kill him anytime if that were the case.
If it's like the comics, there needs to be a certain amount of speedsters alive through all the 52 earths to keep the speed force going. This might be him trying to weed out, or absorbing the low levels like Jay, and keep the powerful ones alive to have the speed force at max level.
There is a ton of ways this could go, Zoom could be the Black Racer, Zoom could be Barry himself, Zoom could be pushing Barry to become his max level as part of another plan etc etc. I doubt any of them will be as simple as send low tier trash to take out Barry, and hopefully after 23 weeks hes dead lmao

I'm not taking a side in this speculation, but I would like a bit more of an explanation here. If you're saying she saved him by yelling at King Shark and shooting bullets that bounced off of him, well then ok. But Wells clearly saved Barry, not the cop. You could argue that Barry was about to do something vibratey or whatever, but at the moment he looked fairly helpless and the cop did nothing but distract King Shark for a few seconds, during which Wells blasted him. I am not sure you're remembering that scene properly.

Don't know if it was every mentioned, or if people were following actors/actresses, but Kendra Saunders, the barista is one of the Hawkgirls. the most recent, new 52 Earth 2 Hawkgirl.
Female Dr. Light as evil/villain is really bizarre. Particularly as DC always had a hard time separating her character from the male villain Dr. Light. Also, small time theif on E2, and E1 is a journalist.... neither a Doctor... what?
Flash should have borrowed Colds freeze gun to freeze her light.
Kaitlyn dropped another forshadowing, about "none of us would be evil just because we got powers". neither Harrison or Jay commented, or were shown reacting to it. likely they don't know about Killer frost I think then. with Zoom bringing over copies.. At very least either would warn her and barry to be ready for it. If, she ends up being E2, then seems like a giant oversight atm.

You are not remembering the scene properly. King Shark was about to eat Barry, and the cop distracted him drawing his attention to him. King Shark then drops Barry to the ground
You think Barry wouldn't be able to take on King Shark, and save her? That is ridiculous as that scene was. Let's say That Barry didn't have time to recover ,and save her from getting eaten. Wells still saves the cop, not the Flash....
FYI Barry gets up immediately after Wells shoots him, and seems fine.

The amount of retarded trolling going on in this thread is staggering. By CW standards (no one here sat through Smallville or Arrow S3?), the drama is kept to a bare minimum and nearly entirely confined to Iris. Pretty much everyone but Iris is likeable on this show and the main hero does not sit around being emo about being a hero most of the time. Also (and this is the most important thing), the plots don't get dragged out forever like they do on other CW superhero shows.

S1 Flash had worse dialogue/monologues than S3 Arrow. I'll take lame emo Felicity/Oliver over and entire cast with nothing remotely situationally-realistic to say.

Amell and the main season villains have been consistently awesome, but outside of that Flash has had much better supporting cast.

Soon as I heard Zooms voice I knew which actor it was and checking imdb proved me right. He's always a good villain. Also the Flash would easily have gotten away from King Shark.

Everyone on the flash was good besides Iris. Cisco, Wells, Snow, Eddie, Barry's Father and Girlfriend were always good on the show
