I predict zoom is barry from Earth 2.

I also think Zoom is a speedster like Barry rather than using the bullshit time manipulation stuff. I don't care how much you can manipulate time, you're not chucking speed bolts unless you're a speedster.

Sure you can, you move just outside of time, everything moves slow to you, you appear to move lightening quick to every one else. It's a pretty standard thing in most of fantasy and comics.

i think it would be really lazy writing if zoom was earth2 barry. fighting the evil version of yourself is such an old cliche that it was lame when i was a kid and the final boss of zelda2 was evil link.

hopefully its a completely different character named Hunter Zolomon.

That does make sense. I was already thinking Zoom had to be someone we would recognize if he took off the mask. Barry has serious issues with father figures

Speed is distance/time so while Barry increases the distance part Zoom decreases the time portion. Obviously, most everything breaks down if you think about it too hard.

Zoom running across the planet should take him years in his time and he should have died of old age long ago.

Plus, it's pretty obvious Zoom is Earth 1's Henry Allen and not Earth 2's.

i do however think earth2 zoom could be earth 1 henry, not because of that digital sleuthing above, though that is quite interesting, but because henry just skipped fucking town soon as he got out of prison. he missed his son's entire childhood and obviously loves him, but nope. gotta go, see ya kid! i dunno wtf that was about but i think thats going to be addressed and has something to do with zoom. no idea in what way. yeah, barry2 as zoom, its possible, but i hope not, henry2 as zoom even more possible and somehow kinda makes sense.
they did just tell us how in earth2 the green arrow is oliver's dad instead of oliver. i think that's foreshadowing in whats to come for barry.

or its all just a big troll by the writers

Well, taking him out of the show makes it more of a shock when he's revealed as Zoom. If Zoom actually is Earth 2 Henry.

On a different note, I do expect some hilarity next week with Barry trying to conceal his paralysis from Patty the way he tried to conceal his temporary blindness.

Seemed willing enough when he kept trying to touch Wells. You'd think Wells would be begging him to do it again to try and find out where his daughter is or to get more information on Zoom.

even if wells was willing to have his head invaded every minute and even if cisco didnt hate doing it, its really bad writing to spend the show watching what every villain is doing so you can foil their crimes in 2 minutes.

His build does look more like that of the actor playing Henry then Barry from Earth 2 and it would be interesting because he played a speedster before and it would give Barry pause. They can use it as a tool for the show. Barry has him on the ropes finally and unmasks him and hesitates and he gets away etc.
