I think its clear from how Zoom got right back up and ran away after getting shot with the nanites by Crisco (yeah thats his name from now on) that he is using some other means to get fast then the speedforce that boosted reverse flash and flash and which reverse flash had to be shown vibrating the nanites out of his body which we never saw zoom do.

Thats kind of a reverse from the comics, Barry's intelligence is what kept him on par with Wally as far as who's more powerful and able to defeat Zoom/Reverse. Barry trying to use physics during the fight was Great but it should have been something saved for the final fight. It's going to be a let down if Barry doesnt defeat Zoom on his own.

That's pretty much how these shows go. Villain straight up owns the hero early in the season making him look invincible only for the hero to get better and win in the end. Happened season 1 with Reverse Flash and even on all 3 seasons of Arrow with Merlyn, Ra's Al Ghul, and Deathstroke.

For sure...but this was by far the most brutal owning we've had in either Flash or Arrow...there's no way Barry can just up and defeat this guy on his own without something truly major happening and if it escalates to that level then it leaves little room for the show to progress to even more powerful things.
Great episode. Anyone else like the lightning/vfx used on Zoom more than what we've seen from the Flash? Red/Orange looks lame compared to what Zoom was emanating

Zoom isn't connected to the Speed Force, he can bend the time around him to appear as if he is moving extremely fast but unlike Flash he wouldn't be able to pass through solid objects by vibrating his molecules

Possibly, the show has taken liberties with metas already and Jay already mentioned once that Zoom is regulating the speed force for his own powers/gains.

To me, I wish they stuck to the comic on Zoom's powers. Apparently, they haven't, as he's catching bullets and throwing lightning. In the comics, Zoom > Wally West > Barry Allen, in terms of speed. Zoom moves fast enough to be a blur to Wally, and he mainlines the speed force. It would make it more interesting to have him face an opponent orders of magnitude faster. Also, the speed force allows different abilities than time travel, so that would make for a better ending.

all they had was the power source in RF's wheelchair and they used up all the juice to stabilize doctor firestorm a few weeks ago. although they do have the reverse flash hologram in that containment chamber.
