Right. If he can move at FTL speeds, his reaction time should be FTL. Even if he didn't hear it, the minute it pressed against his neck, he could have reacted to it.

I seem to remember in the comic, that Vibe and Flash fought once. It was a short fight, as Vibe stopped Flash from accessing the speed dimension, because he disrupted the vibrational frequencies.

The part about Zoom catching the bullets shouldn't have happened. In the comics, Zoom is not a speedster, he's a time manipulator. He can't affect velocity, he can just speed up/slow down time in an area around him. He also can't vibrate his molecules. Maybe one of you science types can explain.

Yeah, that's why I said it would have been a cool show closer to show Cisco with new evolved powers.

Everyone would have been like damn, Cisco can actually hurt speedsters now.

We don't know what Zoom actually is in this new DC universe. It's probly an amalgam of different DC characters. He definitely looks like he has the Speed Force tho.

Jay was convinced he does.

I actually remembered him from his role as Worf's brother in Star Trek, but yeah it's the same actor.

The fact that Zoom is being voiced by a black guy makes me wonder if Zoom is Earth 2 Joe, heh.

I thought it was common knowledge that Tony Todd was voicing Zoom?

I never thought about Joe being a possibility. That would be pretty awesome.

Jesse Chambers, aka, Jesse Quick, Liberty Bell, The Flash. A teen titan, JSA member.

Daughter of Johnny Quick. A golden age Speedster. Part of the Justice Society of America.
They used the speedforce equation.
Earth 2 characters.

Johnny Quick is also the Earth 3 evil flash name.

oh, and hard light joke is a Green lantern joke.

I recognized the voice from the brief speaking part he had at the end of last weeks show but I didn't really put any thought into it until watching this weeks. I don't think the comment about hard light was a lantern reference, those constructs are composed of energy from the emotional electromagnetic spectrum. Hard light constructs have been used in sci-fi for many years.

I was kinda hoping that Barry would turn out to be faster/more powerful than Zoom, but then have Zoom either outsmart him or showcase the ability to siphon the speed force. Him just plain outclassing Barry the same as Thawne did is a bit lame.

Or better yet, have Earth 2 Reverse Flash show up to save Barry because it turns out Eobard Thawne became a hero on Earth 2 instead of a villain.

That would be pretty cool too...but were that the case you think it would have been brought up by since Earth 2 Flash was there.

I'm pretty stumped as to how they will do much against Zoom, even a cross over with Oliver won't do shit. Zoom just strait up destroyed the guy with no issue at all.

well, zoom is depowered now so things are a bit more even. I also think we get a Robert queen appeance, maybe not this season, but now that it's been put out there, I think we will get it.
