I found out today that the woman I have been sleeping with for the last year is married to some guy at my university. He works in the AV/tech department I guess and I saw him tonight leaving class but only recognized him because I found a picture that she left at my place of him. She came clean and told me she was married but now I'm not sure what I'm going to do. She doesn't seem to care that much, but I'm not very comfortable sleeping with someone who is married. What would you do? Would you tell the guy? Would you break it off? Wait to see if they divorce? I'm not worried about getting punched or beaten for various reasons.

I suppose I came off as not too serious because the institution of marriage, when applied to myself, is unappealing. I'm not sure what to do to be honest.

Do what you know will make you feel best in the long term. If you have no guilt short term sex, if you do then you might tell...I don't know how I'd break that to him.... but if it was riding my conscience I would quit it...and since your posting about it, it probably ultimately is, then your current arrangement with her is going to end soon most certainly regardless. Sooo it's a matter of whether you tell the guy, and how you tell him. Maybe send him a video of you banging her. Or just be like, "hey bro what would you do if some dude came up to you and told you he was unknowingly banging your wife?" hmmm...

Been said, but you don't owe the guy anything if you were unaware, and it probably just opens you up to a whole shitton of drama you don't need. Its all on her, and that's his problem, and they are problems that you aren't really solving by bringing it to his attention. There's likely an entire complex dynamic going on in the relationship, he might even know of other affairs or suspect stuff but he is just being "stuck" in the marraige somehow.
