That was the first combo that came to mind when the rule set stated you could have one pet per class chosen. That has to be some serious damage output having three pets like that. If you are playing, take a screen shot of that. I just want to see that look.

what is the optimal level zones for each level band? I'm just going off memory of what I did 25 years ago lol

right now I am like 16 in Oasis of Marr but I also seem to remember highpass hold? I couldn't solo the last time I did this (25 years ago, rogue)

I remember late teens early 20s in South Karana aviaks....after that its getting fuzzy.

Only reason I didn’t go multi pet is because of diminishing returns but 3 pets are the sweet spot. Enjoying mag and charmed pet with bard, seen one guy with a swarm but was anon so not sure how he had more than 4.

Does it matter which class you roll first? I made a cleric that defaulted to like 68 str, 80 sta and 102 wis. When I added on an ench and monk my stats all stayed the same. Do I need to prioritize by rolling as the class that I’m focusing on the most, so in this case probably a monk since it’s most of my dps?

Can’t tell if you are being sarcastic or not. In the bazaar you can change to any race you want it appears, so not sure a troll race/class combo is even necessary.

hit 50, if anyone wants to do some raid targets hit me up. Tessai in game.

Hole groups are where the AA is at right now as well. Went from 45 to 50 in there in about an hour.

Yeah options on the main EQ login screen (where you put in your username/pw) before you get to the server select screen.

I turned off all PC models but a lot of mob models have been changed over the years it seems. Orcs, goblins, frogloks, all look revamped but they are mobs so I guess we can't revert those.

what the fuck do you even do in this game? Been like 20 years since I played EQ, I don't even remember what buttons do.

How the hell do you get extra classes? I handed in a note to my trainer, then got a thing to go to the bazaar, but can't find shit there.

Not entirely sure how it's possible that a 25 year old game with basically sprites runs at a framerate which can only be described as "glacial"

I swear the bazaar runs slower than it did when I was playing on a fucking 486

Turn down particle effects in settings. Will help a lot. In the bazaar find the class trainer you want to add and hail him.

Yeah, that was the first place I started was particle effects. Just wasn't expecting it to be so choppy still, but I suppose that could be net code. And yes, completely forgot about /hail. That made things easier.

Also, nothing appears to have any animations? When I kill a skeleton, it's corpse just stands there straight up. Looking thru the options, can't seem to find much. It's a fun trip down memory lane, but it sure looks to be pretty rough.

i'm in the same boat, been 23 years since i played this shit. took me a few days to get back in the swing of things but by the time I got to LGUK shit was like the back of my hand, can't believe i remember my way around this place lol

I did the 1-60 as a rogue the first time so for me its the overpoweredness that is fun, just running through soloing massive pulls, soloing reds and yellows like its nothing. This is a completely different game than back in 1999 as a rogue having to beg for groups to get any exp

oh and gd are paladins ridiculous with their slay undead AA they 1 shot everything it's hard to even exp when one is in zone with you much less 2 or 3
