I'm not sure if this is the best spot or not but whenever I need to level an item i just park my character here:

There seem to be multiple mobs that path through here and an item is typically leveled over night (normal -> legendary). I'm maxed AA atm but I think it was like 75-100 AA a night (but that might be with veteran bonus and server exp bonus).

Petcucks disgust me, but the various rooms in VT have a good 6-10 mobs in them depending on the size and they are all white-red cons, instead of just white like DN. And the Ahkeva in VT respawn as their ghost form, so you get a 2 for 1 on a lot of them.

The big entryway room between the north and south bosses would probably be a solid spot, but like I said, there are a lot of rooms in there with 6-10 mobs.

I literally just started a nec/mag/enc and bought mag epic and im level 40 with 200AA in like 5 hours.

I also have a 50-56ish pal/mnk/zer that was a LOT more work to get 250ish AA.

Since I’m not really well established this pet setup is gonna let me do shit a lot easier to get going and farming than my first char would have.

Oh yea i remember seeing a guy just afk farming oozes with pets in DN. But not for long =)

Be sure to do that shit in your own respawning dz.

I just made a pet cluck. Have no hit endgame yet but through velious so far easy but way less fun than other classes. It may get better once I can do more with my character to help but the pets kill so fast any other button I press is almost a waste outside of a few scenarios.

my favorite so far was the ultatank, pal/war/sk. Slow as ass to level and AA but once I did that thing is a beast. So much sustain and self heal I almost cannot die. As you can guess my kill speed 1v1 is utter ass but of course I can AE like a monster. The fun comes from seeing how many I can pull at once. Entire zone challenges and such

only style I have not tried yet is the 100% caster dps style. I feel like it would destroy in this game with the strike buff and spell power plus overlapping crit AAs. So that may be next. Thinking wiz/enc/dru or wiz/bard/ench or Druid?

Prob I see with that is how the fuck you gonna sustain on a build like that? Ench have those doppelgangers I guess they fixed and buffed recently and you can always charm a mob to tank, I guess? Still, anything that comes and touches you, you will fall over without a sound way to mitigate or heal over the dmg. Unless im missing something? Im not THAT in tune with EQ and all its intricacies.

Also, to add, Its a great time to start, or roll up some other combos now because valentinos event going on and there is a 50% exp buff running right now and its up to 250 hours right now and climbing. IDK if people are buying this or hand ins for the roses? Who knows. there is also a dot buff running right now too that will help you kill shit even faster.

Last night I was fucking around for like 2 hours on my alt and he was literally getting 1AA every 3 mobs in DN, of course that with veteran bonus too.

These rose things drop and you hand them in to a chick at the bazaar and she gives you random shit, weapon skins, chocolate, even a 50% exp talisman that will prob stack with the server 50% thats running.

Mitigation cap differences between classes aren't that massive. PURE caster is a little tougher, but ENC gets some nutty defensive cooldowns, crazy good runes, etc. Then druid has solid heals, good cooldowns, wolf, etc.

You forget that everyone is walking around with 10k+ HP by Velious. That didn't happen on live really until PoP and even then it was only Warriors. Having to have a "tank" class in a comp is vastly overblown.

If you talk to them and go through the duologue they will give you 3 flowers in case you didn't know.

Yeah this isn’t the most fun for sure. But it does definitely seem waaaay fastest to get up and running if you aren’t already.

The Valentines event has actually kind of ruined AFK Pet farming. Those follower mobs that spawn don't agro so eventually the area is just full of them.

Some comment on Disco said that they only spawn in place of humanoids, for example, mobs that can be assassinated/headshot, like DN rats would have that issues but slimes shouldn't? The VT Akkiva shouldn't be humanoids either, but I haven't killed much trash there.

I just came back to mention the same. I moved to the slimes and no issue. It feels a little slower but better than nothing while leveling items.

Yeah I was camping Sanctus Seru for the earning pieces yesterday for HOURS and got a shit load of them.
