I've had issues with bosses seeing through escape for some reason, so I always use sneak/hide after escape, while still FD. It still insta drops agro, so it's much faster than laying there while mobs slowly forget about you while FD.

Do you guys think the bard epic is good to get for my RNG/BRD/SK? Like does it really add that much to songs? Like when it says makes songs xxx% more powerful, what is it really doing? Remember noob here, so go gentle on me :D.

BTW they fixed that exp event ammy piece. I tried it last night and it was literally AA per 2 mobs in DN. Fucking crazy.

Epic is 100% worth it. It's "performance" resonance, which is a boost to ALL songs, not just those that require singing. It's like always having an instrument up for brass, string, etc.

It won't really get replaced until PoP, where you can start getting Brass Resonance, String Resonance, etc. on individual pieces of gear.

I cleared VT for the first time. I don’t think I’ll ever do that again. I don’t really care to farm things, nothing is worth much anymore, and too much hassle even with the easy skip of fading memories.

I dunno if I’ll play much at all until PoP / AFK AAing.

Maybe I’ll get sleepers key and also try Seru. I have literally zero augs outside of weapons and I won’t put too much effort in them.

Sleeper is interesting and not terrible to do a little farming for augs. You can run directly to his room and kill the 4 warders plus sleeper. Seru +0 isn't tooo bad either, with the same set up of killing 4 commanders (the ones that drop the key components).

While I would hope PoP has easier augs to get, but it's possible the sleeper augs will be good throughout PoP. I still only have enough augs for 1 toon, with most of those being green or blue. Nardox augs are still the best for many of the slots and I also don't plan on farming that zone anymore.

I read about those Nadox augs also but that sounds awful.

The VT shit is getting flooded into the market. Only a few of the rare items are expensive, of course marked up because everyone wants them. But Im thinking this will change soon anyway. Everybody and their mother is farming VT, lol.

the thing with this server im noticing is there is like 20-30 or so (gear)items that are wanted and worth like gold and everything else might as well be trash. There is no inbetween, lol. ther is either the "attack white AGI/DEX/" builds or the "spell dmg" builds or even a little or both and they all want the same items with the most of those stats.

Everyone has their BIS lists and following them strictly. Oh and over half the server is pet cucks, lol. I made some huge cash on those stupid pet summoning gloves the first week of vt. I was lucky to get like 3-4 pair to drop.

Agreed.

It’d be cool if the people running the server maybe put some more custom stats on specific items so there’s more breadth to things. I dunno.

Like you said it’s only really a small amount of things people want.

customizing items is a huge effort.

I think they plan to stop at PoP anyway, right? They should make the server all about alts and fun combos. My petcuck dude now has over 1k AA and while east mode it is fucking boring as balls to play(for the most part). Already got me thinking of crazy combos to try and spice things up.

I’m actually to the point where I wish there were group only (1-3 people) content. Cause solo farming AA isn’t fun, sitting in lguk isn’t fun. What’s fun is picking some retarded combo of classes and going off script on seeing if it can work.

I thought I read they planned to keep going through expansions.

Server will die out if they just stay at PoP, no? Yeah items are tough. They've already done a great job with the design of this server.

thing is a fucking BEAST. Was brutal as balls to level but nothing can kill me. Between lifetaps, proc lifetaps/heals, paladin heal proc and all the life saving AAs all 3 offer I basically couldn’t die. Of course if I was about to I FD and try again.

now that class combo was fun as shit to play. But I have to laugh because even with that gear/AA killing anything was a 20 minute snooze fest. I had zero pew pew power. Character name is UltaTank if someone with pure dps wants to team up.

Only thing I have not tried is pure caster. Had a previous post about it.

What would be cool is to take your ultra tank, some ultra deeps like Ranger/rogue/??, or 3xcaster and a ultra healer SHM/CLR/DRU and try and do some shit. Holy trinity on crack

It’s super fun to play vs bosses and tough content. It absolutely blows donkey nuts to clear trash lol. Having some junk mob my petcuck kills in 15 seconds by pressing “pet attack” with zero other buttons, spells or skills, takes over 2-3 minutes on the ultatank. It’s demoralizing lol. But it is badass on bosses. My health doesn’t move

So I actually haven't even played in over a week. VT was fucking Aids i didn't even clear it once before noping out. Luclin holds no sentimental value, I have no nostalgia for it and its good because apparently luclin was fucking gay and i'm glad I quit eq the first time when it came out.

How was the cleric nerf? I had been just logging in doing sleeper x2 on my sk/nec/shm and my war/bst/wiz for augs and AAing on my zerk/monk/clr but they nerfed CLR' before i got enough AA or leveled enough gear to try burning bosses.

can that combo still down sleeper in a single burn while ignoring the 75% add or does it now need to play more conservatively?

Basically i'm not willing to do luclin with any build that doesn't have a rogue, bard, or monk in it, there is no fucking way i'm clearing all that trash and necro/sk FD isn't good enough to skip without it taking hours waiting on the mobs to fuck off.

I've heard that the plan is to stop at DoN. Apparently emu files don't really exist for much after that and it would be a MASSIVE undertaking to get further expansions working.

Nahh its not that bad...Before knowing the rogue thing I was FDing on my SK and it worked fine. Like wait a 45 sec to a minute after FD. Go and make a drink or something. Go stretch your legs. No its not instant, but its also not hours. Second floor gets a bit more hairy, you have bosses in wide open rooms so you can get an add or two, but its no big deal. The trash has literally like 40K life on average which any build could slice through in seconds. Bosses in there are trivial too. Its basically hit auto attack and walk away. THATS the shit that pisses me off in VT, its not the trash, its the bosses with a billion fucking HP. Its stupid and dumb.

People were saying here that there is no upgrades in Luclin, just side grades, well thats a straight up lie. Going from NTOV to Luclin shit lis like 200-300 more AC and 500+HP Pplus a shit ton of Heroic stats, depending on combo of course.

Besides even if you dont want to partake in the moon, now its the perfect time to get another combo going. I got my CLR/BER/MNK leveled to 55 in like 3 hours and now its AA time. I know it sucks but AA per 2 mobs is fucking crazy right now if you score one of those event neck pieces.

The problem with this server is there isnt any strategy to anything. Its power through everything. And if you cant, well gear some more and try to power through it tomorrow. I have not cast a single utility on my shaman except slows and buffs. I dont think I even purchased any of them because you dont need them. Im sure its like that with all the other classes. Its like the red neck big lifted truck with big fat wheels vs dragon.

Dont get me wrong the server is fun and all that and it is what it is I guess.
