This server has been crazy fun! I'm rog/sk/clr, once the AA's get going you get crazy powerful quick. Rogue is probably best dps I've seen so far and it's not even close. The damage poisons put out is crazy good. Then coupled with SK sustain and clr divine avatar it's a great boss killer setup. I'm critting like 18k harm touches, poor CT.

I'm getting there. Level 38 with nearly 60AA. 80% of exp going to AA atm and still leveling quite quickly. If you have a caster class, I highly recommend getting the 2nd tier AA that prevents fizzles on spells up to 54(name escapes me atm). It's the first level of the AA, and if I remember correctly, it cost 3aa maybe 6. I got that early on, and its crazy the difference it has made.
Got Naggy and Vox down first try last night. Pal/mnk/ench with 130aa. Doppleganger saved my butt big time since slay undead doesn’t work on either dragon. Hate and Fear trash alone is a lot harder and I hate the constant dispelling of my buffs. Not sure I’ll bother trying to get to Inny or CT since Kunark goes live in a few days. This server is a blast

I'm a 30 pal/mnk/enc with 350ish aa. I can run through lguk slaughtering everything in the zone so fast that I can empty the entire zone before the first mob I killed respawns.
That said, Slay Undead gives me a totally inflated view of my power lol. The minute I fight a non undead mob I feel super weak. I have maxed Dopp and it's great but I need to increase my own personal dps.
From what I'm gathering, I think melee dps is all about maxing the spell crit aas and getting weapons with decent procs. At 50 I can use the summoned Pally hammer in primary, but I have yet to find a good proc offhand weapon for monk or pally. I'm guessing when Kunark opens there will be a lot more options for good offhand.
Ether way, definitely having a blast on this server. I can't explain how nice it is to not have buff timers on your own buffs. I used to spend so much time buffing, medding, and rebuffing.

Does anyone use eqlogparser? I don't know why it has a column called assassinate and an option to exclude assassinate damage from the dps calculations when no matter what it includes this damage and doesn't count any assassinates as assassinates and instead just counts it as backstab damage? How do I fix this? It's completely skewing my data to the point of uselessness.
Yes slay is insane. Non-undead I hit like garbage but thankfully my dopplegangers take care of killing stuff for me and it had almost constant uptime. I haven’t looked into any AA yet beyond slay 4, WoS 2, dopple 3, dopple beckon 3, and fearless. I’ll need to focus on proc crit AA or something like you said.

will get banned for 3rd party but it kinda has SEQ/MQ features built in. map shows generic "mob" tags but I think its based on track range where it'll start showing you actual mob names.
can someone give me a quick run down on legendary weapons? is it upgraded from normal ones or rng from named mobs? thanks

items that drop can be normal, enchanted, or legendary. This is RNG, and is helped by the Luck world buff which you'll see people donating EoM and giving the whole server these world buffs often.
Normal can be upgraded to enchanted and enchanted upgraded to legendary by putting it in your "power source" slot on your character sheet, the little orb slot next to your rings. They level up via exp by killing mobs. You also have an AA called consume Item which allows you to eat an item to power up the same item. the item you are leveling stays in your power slot, and the item you are sacrificing you hold in your cursor and press the hotkey for consume item. You would use this to feed a bunch of normal versions into an enchanted version you are leveling up to legendary.
unless its an exceedingly rare item its almost never worth it to level it up from normal, and most items you can just keep farming until you get the legendary version to drop. But when you are just starting out and don't have time/plat to buy the legendary version you can totally buy the much cheaper enchanted version and level it up yourself.
Normal and Enchanted items do not bind to you btw so you can wear them, use them, and then sell them later. Legendary Items are bound to you on equip (well once you kill something with them equipped)

The more stats on an item, the longer it takes.
So a Legendary Brain of Cazic Thule will take longer to grow from base, than something like Painbringer, for example.

I love the power slot concept, but wish there was a way to make it go faster or power up more than one item at a time. I’ve had an enhanced Valium BP sitting in my power slot for days and have 3 or 4 more items to put there once it’s done. Takes forever for some items it feels like.

You can sometimes find normal planes armor dirt cheap in the bazaar and buy it just to pump your power sources item. I did that with an expensive weapon.
