I didn't listen to the solo ep but Howard is definitely a weirdo. He's obviously done a bunch of his own research and started putting things together that don't belong. Eric handles the conversation fantastically, treats Howard fairly and discusses everything, but also calls him out directly when needed. Howard, keeps going back to the same kinds of points, but keeps his cool when shot down. This is one of my favorite eps in a while.

Good enough for me. I tapped out of the Terrance H solo episode in the first 5 minutes, and Eric tends to be interesting, but annoying. But I'll give it a go

Finished the episode today. Eric was great and very generous, he was also very honest that Terrence just needs to STFU and get out of his own way. At one point Terrence said "I am my own worst enemy and also my best friend." Which basically sums up what Eric was saying for 4.5 hours.
Overall I am glad I listened to it, especially when Eric gave insight as to why the Scientific Community is so fucked up and unethical, shocker...he blamed Jizzalaine Maxwell's Dad.

Seen come clips and it feels like two grifters trying to outgrift each other, with Weinstein effortlessly winning but being kind to a fellow grifter.

I think you totally miss the point of the show. JRE started in 2009 just because Joe wanted to talk shit with his friends and thought it would be funny for people to see it. Joe's guest selection has nothing to do with what other people want and has everything to do with what he is interested in. It is just that simple and it has obviously worked.
If there is an episode/guest you don't like than skip it. I am a huge fan and I have probably skipped 300-400 episodes.
