I really think the people who think Rogan trump is so terrible have never listened to a single one of his podcasts speeches, or if they did their mind was already made up and they did it with their outrage checklist out just to see how many things they could check. Same with Jordan Peterson trump. I saw someone on instagram saying that Peterson trump makes his living "spewing hate" and I just have to think they haven't listened to him at all. You can like him or not, but saying what he does is "spewing hate" just doesn't even remotely make sense.

They seem to think that JRE listeners are just a sponge, soaking up everything they hear and believing everything.

They don't seem to realize that a lot of people just want chill background noise.

They also don't understand the format/guests. Because you have:

A) mma episodes - his specialist subject

B) specific subject episodes - deep dives on a certain topic, e.g. The Malone, McCullough episodes or another example Matthew Walker the sleep expert. 100% of the time Joe isn't claiming to be an expert on these topics or qualified to discuss/critically examine them

C) no fixed topic conversations e.g. The recent one with Jordan Peterson.

D) bullshit episodes e.g. This is clearly nonsense - Alex Jones,

I mean, he literally qualifies almost all of his opinions with "I'm just a stupid meathead; nobody should listen to me." Like if he knows what he's talking about or sort of does, he'll be straight about it, but in areas where he's not qualified/hasn't done it himself? "What do I know? I'm just a stupid meathead."

Wokeness really is full blown aids.

He mentioned one of his older podcasts that was controversial about a doctors opinion on AIDS

I went back and listened to it and turned it off after 15 mins because the doctor was a fucking moron who believed AIDS wasn’t caused by HIV

Like surprise, believe it or not, Rogans listeners can think for themselves and don’t have to listen and believe everything they hear

You should be watching Stelter's "Reliable Sources" and Acosta's "Deomcracy in Peril", instead of that stupid meathead Joe Rogan. And be thankful! That our betters took the time to let us little people know what our opinions should be.

Joe Rogan supplies information which you can take or leave.

MSM thinks they deliver the word of God that can’t be disputed even when debunked with mountains of irrefutable evidence.

It is even more hilarious because I guarantee that anyone who has listened to Rogan somewhat consistently for the past 5 to 7 years is more intelligent and discerning than the equivalent that only watches legacy shit media.

I mean, how many things do you hear on JRE that you just spout back as if they are the truth? Joe himself doesn't do that. He talks frequently about going and doing more research on topics with previous guests so that he can form a better opinion. And much like Joe, the more he has a good guest on, the more you take them at their word. Like Rhonda Patrick, at least until she came in and totally tanked her credibility by acting like a fucking idiot about COVID. But even that proves that his listeners are in no way this giant mass of uncritical morons that take everything said on the show at face value.

joe rogan was able to put up arguments to a nasa astronomer phil phlat that the moon landing was a hoax

when this faggot couldn't keep up with joe, he called up bullshit debunker penn jillette

penn jillette could not win, and penn jillette for all his flaws is a seasoned talker and critical thinker

does that mean the moon landing was faked? no, just that a curious meathead with ADD, could put up and counter argue with a shit astronomer and when he tagged team penn jillette, he still couldn't win.

where is this podcast? longer gone somewhere, it was on penn's podcast almost 20years ago.

what does joe believe now? eh the moon landing probably happened.

We've all seen this one right

View attachment 396025

well I'm posting it again it makes me smile.

The sugar example in that is literally the perfect example of how science is not settled. There are people that believe sugar makes you fat, carbs raise insulin etc and there are people that believe the opposite.

Each side can pull studies to support their opinion and each side can find reasons to discredit opposing studies.

So which is misinformation?

Shit like Rhonda destroying her credibility is precisely why I think Joe's schtick of, "I'M NOT AN EXPERT!!! I'M A WEED SMOKING MORON" is so fucking retarded. We know, Joe, but the "experts" you do have on are even MORE retarded than your retarded ass.

At the end of the day, China Virus should really wake people the fuck up to the idea that NOBODY is quite as "important" or "knowledgeable" as they claim to be/others claim they are. 50 years ago? Maybe. But not in the world of YouTube, Google, Social Media, etc. When you have literally almost all of human knowledge in the palm of your hand, you realize pretty quick that many experts either don't know shit or even worse.. are FULL of shit.

Rogan is the new trump in terms of being the media defamation focus
Na, Rogan is way smarter than Trump and actually gives a shit about people. He's a nice person and deeply sincere. The video he posted today was basically a perfect shutdown of his critics while also being nice and heartfelt, and he did a better explanation of how he sees his position in the media and the role of his show in public discourse than anyone could have asked for. I haven't listened to his show regularly in a while because I've been listening to Lex Friedman instead who has guests much more along the lines of what I'm looking for in this style of podcast, but I might start listening to Joe more regularly again.

"There are no words I can say to adequately convey how deeply sorry I am for the way The Joe Rogan Experience controversy continues to impact each of you," Spotify Technology SA Chief Executive Daniel Ek said in a memo sent to employees on Sunday. "I think it’s important you’re aware that we’ve had conversations with Joe and his team about some of the content in his show, including his history of using some racially insensitive language."

JOE ROGAN APOLOGIZES FOR PAST USE OF N-WORD AFTER CLIPS RESURFACE: 'I CLEARLY HAVE F---ED UP'

"Following these discussions and his own reflections, he chose to remove a number of episodes from Spotify. He also issued his own apology over the weekend," he added, according to the statement obtained by Fox Business. "While I strongly condemn what Joe has said and I agree with his decision to remove past episodes from our platform, I realize some will want more. And I want to make one point very clear – I do not believe that silencing Joe is the answer."

SPOTIFY CEO ON JOE ROGAN CONTROVERSY: 'WE DON'T CHANGE OUR POLICIES BASED ON ONE CREATOR'

The statement comes as many people are calling on the platform to censor the former "Fear Factor" host’s podcast, "The Joe Rogan Experience," over the now-viral video. Those who have previously been critical of Rogan’s vaccination comments also piled on to the criticism.

"Another criticism that I continue to hear from many of you is that it’s not just about The Joe Rogan Experience on Spotify; it comes down to our direct relationship with him. In last week's Town Hall, I outlined to you that we are not the publisher of JRE. But perception due to our exclusive license implies otherwise. So I’ve been wrestling with how this perception squares with our values," the CEO continued, Axios reported.
