It seems like they need more episodes than 8. This would have been better as a 2 parter. With them helping the planet, which was to set up them getting representation for Mandalore in the New Republic, and then bringing the other Mandos back to the fold.

It sort of felt like a cartoon episode in live action. Not horrible, but definitely not great. I did like how they actually addressed the audience question of why Bo Katan saving Mando after he lost the saber didn’t count - turns out it does. It also mostly resolved the Mando infighting so they can focus on the next big bad

The whole season feels like something a 10 year old would write. That pterodactyl episode was retarded and made no fucking sense.
"The kid got taken by a giant bird!"
"It's cool, I chased it down, then just watched it from the sky for a bit before heading back"

I called that first episode. This season was for certain more targeted to young people as Disney says fuck off you old boomer fans.

They literally called the Mon Calamari a prince and was a guy’s voice and the squid alien had a woman’s voice
You’re welcome to dive deeper into the biological lore of those alien species on your own time if you want to really focus on this lol

definitely girl power the season between Spy Girl, Bo Katan, Lizzo The Fat, Armorer, etc but I liked this episode the best. Yeah its weird but it basically felt like Clone Wars II: Bo Katan's Adventures and while I'm not sure anything this season really advanced the stories of Din Djarin or Grogu it was fun to watch. I can't believe Christopher Lloyd is in Star Wars canon, or that we got a mention of Count Dooku lol
You do feel the hole Bad Batch ending leaves though, Mando has been kiddie and goofy while Bad Batch has been dark and depressing and the two balanced nicely.

definitely not one of the better episodes in the series, but there were some pretty cool visuals and they moved the needle on advancing the overall plot a little at the end. Just hoping the last two episodes this season make up for what seems like a strange story choice this late in the season. Filoni cowrote the next episode with Favreau, so if its in keeping with precedent we could get Sabine then, or even better Fenn Rau . There's always a good appearance when Filoni cowrites or directs.

Only gripe I had was she should have already had it in the cave scene as everyone discussed here. The way he passed it off in front of all her ex tribe was a bit awkward and weak.

It was just a loophole that Din used. I don't think Bo-Katan would have taken the saber from him like that. Otherwise she would have challenged him by now.
