Actually 1 thing the Blaze is useful for: pretty much every time there is a successful home defense with a gun that makes local news, The Blaze reports it nationally.

If you have any super anti-gun friends (I do) you can send them sometimes multiple articles a day from The Blaze about grandpa/grandma gunning down an intruder. That stuff is seriously underreported.
You're right that those stories don't get much press and not nearly as much as they'd get if grandpa got gunned down by an intruder. But I think that has more to do with the media not getting enough rating/hits from a successful home defense as they would from a failed home defense. IF that wasn't true fox news would be telling home defense stories constantly.

Another aspect to that is that there's less to argue about from a successful home defense. The pro-gun control people have a tough time to argue against it. Where as if the grandpa was gunned down by a home intruder you could make the "If there were less guns the intruder wouldn't have a gun." or the "If there were more guns the grandpa would have a gun" argument easily.

Obama is halfway through his second term. Six years in office. So yes, I do blame the economy on him.
And that is stupid. You are being stupid. The economy tanked for a number of factors, not a single one had anything to do with what Obama did or did not do. Not as a freshman Senator or community organizer or member of the Weather Underground. Since he took office, the deficit has gone down and the economy has improved. You should be happy with him at least on that measure. If you really need a scapegoat to pin all the evils of the economy on you should be looking at the person who tanked the fucking thing.

I don't think W. Bush tanked the economy either. Just the federal budget.

Deregulation of the finance and loan industry is the primary culprit, which allows the pointing of many fingers.

Well it isn't any one person or one action, really. It isn't accurate to say Bush tanked the economy anymore than it is accurate to say Wilson started WW1. I'm sure people are writing many theses in MS/PhD programs about what caused the economic collapse and who to blame. But out media operates off of a binary thing, you are either red or blue, Bush or Obama, etc. And the disconnect of criticizing Obama for having no experience prior to being sworn in while at the same time trying to hold him accountable for an economic collapse that happened over the course of 10 years while he was nowhere near the executive, it is stupid.

LOL... you do realize that's actually drastically low, right? Almost every single Ambassador in modern history was tied into campaigning for the candidate that nominated them.

GG on thinking TheBlaze.com actually quotes anything remotely accurate.
Of course that is how its worked in Washington. I wasn't stating this was a new perk of donating money that Obama is using to pad his campaign coffers. The problem is, didn't he run in 08' promising hope and change? Did he not state it was no longer going to be "business as usual" in Washington? He was going to clean it up, he was going to change how things were done in DC. He was going for transparency. He's done nothing of the sort. He is your typical Washington politician. He hasn't changed a fucking thing.

You keep repeating the wrong question over and over again. Yes, the economy tanked under Bush. I am not disputing that. But after six years Obamas policies have been ineffective in repairing the damage done. Because he is either totally incompetent, or truly believes that he needs to tank the entire system and start over. Either way, its quite a stretch to say that the economy has improved. Forcing millions off the work force so they are no longer counted is great for the unemployment numbers, but its not fixing the real problem.

There's plenty such things.

Marxism is as big a joke as Communism, which is why both of those systems have disappeared. I can't believe, that in 2014, people still talk about those systems. If they worked, countries would be using them, instead of eschewing them enmasse.

Please spare us the "no one has done it right yet" line of thought.

We're not talking about communism in the video. We're talking about analyses of capitalism, which no one did better.

And he's the most influential scholar ever, so yeah, he's certainly still listened to. That's not hyperbole either.

The h index is flawed. Einstein and other physicists have contributed infinitely more to the progression of human civilization then some commy fag with a crusty cum drenched beard you fap to on a nightly basis.

Because the unemployment numbers are being doctored and fixed for the first time in the history of the country, save that money on Brads next flop and buy a clue.

Unemployment is down, the economy is recovering, and the deficit has been cut by a record margin. It isn't a stretch to say the economy has improved. By the metrics they use to measure the economy, it has improved. Period. And it is continuing to improve. There are plenty of things to pin on Obama but you are so intent on repeating right wing talking points that you are seriously barking up the wrong tree,

unemployment is down while overall growth is weak and the difference can be accounted for in working age people dropping out of the labor pool.

stocks are high and housing prices have been reinflated somewhat but the underlying economy isn't doing well

the numbers for the economy AREN"T good when you have to reinvent the way you report them.
