Skipping all the other insanity of that post, can someone explain this part? How would knowing something is VR allow you to suddenly change the programming of the construct? That's saying that once you figure out it is fake, you suddenly have control over it. That's not how fucking programs work at all. Sure, you can exploit bugs and gaps in programming, but you don't get to just make shit up. Our characters in Everquest were no different than these "awakened" VR people, as we knew it was all just an artificial world, right? But that didn't allow us to create loot out of thin air or instakill bosses or teleport around the world. And before anyone says anything about how people actually did those things...yes, they did it via access from outside the program. Not from inside, which is where we are stuck in this fictional narrative. But that's what this guy is claiming is happening. Which is why he's fucking nuts too.No, the big problem is that since this is a virtual reality, magic is real. And any cunt can do it.
I don’t believe we’re a virtual reality in some kids computer in another reality somewhere but I do believe that a virtual reality or holographic universe is the best way to describe how God created this universe but much more complex and with many more layers. I do believe we all co-create reality together in a way best described below. I do believe we can literally manifest good and bad things into our reality based on our thoughts and actions. Also the video on the double slit experiment I linked below is what I think is the best evidence that we live in a virtual reality.Skipping all the other insanity of that post, can someone explain this part? I think it’s a feature of Gods creation, not a bug. I think we are all fractals of God’s infinite consciousness and therefor we are all divine. I think he gave us some of the keys to the kingdom but locked some of it behind a Love paywall. But yeah, I won’t pretend that I completely, or even partially, understand it.Right, I wasn't implying the kid's computer thing either. But any reasonably competent "designer" of any system would have reasonably secure limits on what the creations inside of it could do because they don't want it immediately going to shit. And would implement patches if any game-breaking bugs popped up. But assuming the designer just "set it and forget it" and left us to do whatever, meaning no patches and we can nuke ourselves to oblivion for example, that still doesn't support that guy's theory that once you realize it is VR, you can essentially do magic. That makes no sense at all.
I'm not saying you support every single thing that guy said, but I also don't know which of it you do support, and I'm saying that part makes no sense. Knowing you're in a simulation doesn't suddenly grant you powers that you didn't have before you knew. All it does is open up the possibility of there being extra potential, but they may all amount to nothing because the original designer locked it all down and none of us have admin access.
The 10 minutes or so from the beginning of this link are extremely important and I think one of the central issues. Think zero point and Anit-grav tech.
