lifestraws useage are pretty bad compared to the competition. Don't get me wrong i have 2 straws too as a "last resort", but from what backpackers/hikers say (since they use this stuff regularly) get a sawyer mini spec wise it filters better at 0.1 micron vs lifestraw 0.2 micro, the lifestraw has a 1000litre lifespan while the sawyer has a 100,000litre lifespan, you can only suck through the lifestraw, the sawyer does suck along with squeeze, attaching a regular water bottle to it and gravity fed, the weight is about the same, and the sawyer mini is like 3bucks more. adding a few water purification tablets and you should be good for a few years. (of course they also have an entire life for producing a lot of water for campsites and families as a water fed system... cuz theres no way one person can squeeze that much water through a filter for a family)LifeStraws are pretty solid. Easy to use, decent price, filters a lot of water.
sidenote...
my walmart was out of water in the usual place, they put it in the front and just pallet load the water now cuz ppl are buying it up.
shelves are still fully stocked tho
