Those fuckers must read our shitposting about old movies, except on all seriousness, well we're actually being serious talking about the Glory Days of older films.

I think it's kind of a loose rip-off of a old French movie called The Vanishing. They're two completely different films but it's a similar concept and this one's much more Americanized. I even think there was an American remake of the French film with Ray Liotta back in the 90s, and I would maybe has her to Guess that those two movies came out around the same time.Forgotten movie alright.
I see the thumbnail and was convinced I'd never seen a Kurt Russell film called Breakdown. Sometimes I skip RLM vids about a film I haven't seen, but I started watching this one. It took a little while, suddenly I remembered that yes I had seen the film, but so much of it was just the vaguest memories. So yeah like they were saying, it's kinda a good film, but doesn't really do anything to stick in your mind.
What's with the all the Unsolved Mysteries references lately?
I just watched The King Tide. Definitely an interesting movie. It's, as they said, very much a "what would I do if I were in their shoes" kind of movie. Can't say I've ever seen anything like it. Definitely enjoyable. And man, that climax goes from 0 to 100 real quick. That recent video reminded me that there's still plenty of their recommendations that I haven't watched yet. So I just went back and watched a couple of movies they've recommended in recent years 'late night with the devil' and 'dinner in america' and they were both so good. I don't think RLM recommendations have ever lead me astray. I'm reminded of one I watched based on their recommendation years back 'the kid detective' which I otherwise would probably have never heard of.. I've rewatch it every year or two, it's so great.
