Do they talk about one of the greatest scenes in cinema history?

I couldn't count the number of times I watched that movie as a kid. And you're right that is one of the greatest scenes in all of film history. My buddies and I still use it as a joke if something's gone south. I remember trying to build the ship out of Legos or constructs or something. I don't remember it turning out very well but I tried.

Edit: holy shiy talk to text was really bad on this one

Yeah, early 80s was a truly awesome time to be a kid. The Last Starfighter, Explorers, and Flight of the Navigator definitely made a mark on me.

Loved all those movies. Don't forget Goonies and Gremlins. My mom took me to see Goonies in the theater and when I got home I was going around the house with a chair checking the backs of all of her framed pictures and paintings hanging up around the house looking for a treasure map.

I limited it to those because they were all space exploration kids' scifi. Definitely hundreds of movies I loved from the 80s.

That makes sense. I was just thinking of what movies that I always watched that were kids movies, the kind that rarely get made nowadays. I mean there might be one or two on occasions, but they're definitely far and few in between quality wise.

I guess most kids stuff is now stupid Pixar animated BS, not that some of those aren't decent, but it's not the same as when we grew up.
