Steam link is pretty good got the price. Sadly most of my Steam games are kb/m so not really using it as I have most AAA's on ps4. Did you guys hard wire your SL or using wifi? I did not like the steam controller, my WiiU pro is working very well. I could not get my DS4 to connect via Bluetooth, but I nee it works well for others, wired was fine but not a long term option. It's nice to finally use the wiiu pro

That's funny I could get my DS4 to connect but not my WiiU Pro. Love the steam link so far (wired) and will probably like it a lot more when I upgrade my graphics card to play Fallout 4 on high without stuttering. The Steam controller is just meh overall for me. Will probably only be using it for Civ and Cities games with the most popular configurations found on the web and not much else. The face buttons are just too damn small and they are where I keep expecting an analog stick to be. The replacement for the right analog stick just seems too slow for it to be useful in anything requiring fast reaction time or complex inputs.

I'm running a hardwired Steamlink, but not having anything positive to say about it so far besides that it transmits visual data near seamlessly.

The games I want to use it for have input and audio issues (some as bad as not streaming audio at all) and the games it's running with minimal lag issues are games I'd never consider playing on a couch (kb+m). The only gamepad game I have it working with is Fallout 4, but even then with the latency issues the experience is far superior running it directly on my PC. The thing I find funniest about the whole thing is that Rocket League, a game it was bundled with, has hands down the most issues for people from everything I'm reading and experiencing.

I have not even turned my steam link on since the first day, =(

To be fair I have been pretty obsessed with FO4 on my ps4.

Can anyone recommend any good games for steam that I can play with a controller? (yet to find a good solution to kb/m logistics on the couch) that would not be on the ps4 ?

Looking at my list of games almost everything gamepad compatible is cross platform, but if you haven't already, I think TaleTell's games would work pretty well - they aren't on PSN are they? I haven't tested AGoT yet, but the concept of the games works well and is at least somewhat inviting to others depending on which game it is - for example I know my girlfriend will especially appreciate the steam link for WD/AGoT on the big screen + couch.

Broforce?

If I use the steam link can I use my PC? Not for games let's say, but for anything.
Nope, 100% locks the PC to the steam screen.

Sulrn: Telltale is cheap as hell on PS4. I bought most of them on sale for $10 or something.
That reminds me the final episode of GoT should be out now.

yeah, I've used my controller and a wireless keyboard and mouse to surf from the couch so far.

Just have to get out of the "big picture" mode on steam. I wouldn't be surprised if hacks and such are coming soon making it even more functional.

So I just bought this $22 Hamilton Beach popcorn maker at Costco yesterday. I like popcorn but I hate microwave shit typically and air poppers have always been a mixed bag because I feel they are so flavorless that you have to overcompensate with botter/toppings so it's not really 'healthier' unless you like eating styrofoam.

This thing is amazing for the price. Bought some jolly time kernels, damn thing popped every last one and not a single burnt piece either. Well worth the price.

I got one of those but went nuts with the seasoning and ended up throwing up later. I threw the thing right in the trash.

Nice Tarrant. I was at a memorabilia show with my dad over the summer and someone was selling a signed copy of the NES cartridge.

My wife requested these. She doesn't ask for much so I obliged.

Pros:
- Solid design. Very good weight to them.
- LED lights are bright.
- Sound is clear, both from the cans and the cat ear speakers.
- Comes in a carrying case.

Cons:
- Clearly first generation design.
- The USB cord for charging is short as hell.
- Not wireless.
- Mic isn't usable on PC without a splitter.

Wife doesn't have any complaints. I would give it a 4/5.
