Finally got my 60" Panasonic ST60 in. I'm going to replace the TV stand with this in a week or two hopefully:http://www.walmart.com/ip/Altra-Glas.../21015289?_mm=

This TV is just absolutely fucking gorgeous.

I have silver and gold too but I usually get slips of it. When I get enough I'm going to buy a Dabo Wheel.

They added some Zumba shit at my gym, and the music is annoying as all fuck. I wanted some noise cancelling headphones that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg, but sound at least decent. THESE fuckers were not them. Fanny Wang being the actual name should have been a tip-off, but my dumbass decided to try em anyway. They sound like absolute shit. Like Dre Beats bad. The noise cancellation is a fucking annoying hum, not a white noise. They have a bass boost, which sounds like the drivers want to fuckin rupture. No amount of EQing made them sound even decent. Nevermind playing off my iPhone.

I literally returned to Amazon in 10 minutes. Fanny Fuckin Wang...

Hopefully Sean responds as well, but I bought the exact same size and model TV he got and it performs exceptionally well at deflecting glare. My living area is pretty brightly lit, as it's open to the dining room with multiple windows, front entrance with windows on either side of the door, and has three 8 foot tall windows going out to the backyard with no window treatment. I've only ever bought LCD/LED's before, and going from matte to glass was a big concern I had. But Panasonic really outdid themselves on the ST60 model. Supposedly the ST's made the biggest jump in performance over the VT's or ZT's from the 50 series. I would say by far it's going to the best bang for your buck HDTV you can get.

No glare issues for me, but I have light-controlled area. It's supposed to be pretty good at anti-glare stuff though. If taebin's not having a problem with all that light then I imagine it works pretty damned well.

Also I just got my order of this in the mail:http://inspiredled.com/universal-LED-TV-backighting-kit

Not sure if I'll install it until I get my new stand in though.

I didn't even know things like that existed, but I have always had an issue with needing to have at least some sort of light on in the room while I watch television. It typically should be behind or above me so that it isn't directly in my view, but having the room super dark always tends to drive me nuts when watching anything at all. I wonder if something like those would help alleviate my problem?

Yep, these lights are builtspecificallyto alleviate that problem.

Watching TV in the dark is pretty bad for you and can cause heavy eyestrain within 20-30 minutes quite easily. These backlights curb the problem of your pupils dilating back and forth constantly as the TV goes back and forth between bright and dark scenes when you're watching it in a room with no other light source. They're also specifically set to 6500k so that they don't mess up how you perceive the colors on the TV.

Nice, thanks. I'll probably give them a shot then, because that has to be less energy than leaving a room light on all the time.

EDIT: If it ain't Prime, I ain't buying it! Luckily, I found the right ones immediately (http://www.amazon.com/Backlight-46-5...=lcd+backlight), so I guess I'll be trying them out sooner rather than later.

I have recently been informed that fanny means vagina. They're actually vagina dick headphones, while still confusing as a headphone manufacturer brand, it is now much more comforting in a southern baptist kind of way.
