Your battery powered joke is unfit to be called a weed whacker so you were correct. You should call it your boyfriends butthole groomer.

Seriously we are all confused/and/or/arguing that weed-whacker/eater can or cannot be used interchangeably? If you would call it a weed-trimmer for whatever reason I would still think the same product as a normal trimmer as pictured above is not generally for "weeds" but trimming the hedges (heh).

As for shit I just bought, happened upon a nice front loading dryer 750$ for 200$ on clearance at Sam's! not I gatta find the matching washer :-(

Weed eater is a brand of string trimmers.

And electric isn't really giving up much to gas powered these days, particularly for something like a string trimmer. If you're doing heavy shit then you still need gas but if you're just edging your lawn and shit the cordless ones are much more convenient. I don't like the AC powered ones though, just because you don't want to be dragging extension cords around your yard and sooner or later you're going to get the cord in the cutter.

Used corded mowers/whackers for years and years and never had a problem with hitting the cord.

Which is dumb, my younger brother ran over the cord the second time my parents made him mow and he never had to do it again. Smart fucker.

I have a pretty tiny back yard so I use an electric mower and trimmer. It wouldn't make sense to have a gas for my purposes.

Nothing major. Just a remote controlled, color changing, light bulb!

It's not that exciting but it really is pretty nice to add accent light to my monitor when gaming. Or when you need a red light for which to bang the chicks under...

Wish they made that light in a flood at that price. The recessed cans in my computer room are all that size and a normal sized bulb just wouldn't look right.

How are the metal key caps? Do you think there's any real benefit?
I'm going to tentatively say yes there is a benefit. They are heavier. Less force needed to bottom them out. The sound is much different also. Quieter. Muffled. They look awesome. The below pic doesn't do a great job of showing the effect, but the back light shines thru nicely thru the letters and reflects off the silver.

Cool, I have a K70 they looked interesting. Was thinking it would be good just to have a different feel so that I could keep my fingers 'around' the wasd easier without having to reset.
