Cats + Packing Materials = im-fucking-possible to keep the place clean. Should be better after my last order comes in and I can properly get everything I need to stored and cleaned up.

Unfortunately, Fedex-tards left a note on the outside of the apartment building today saying the door was locked, I guess the Saturday fags don't have a key or whatever to get in like the normal weekday drivers do so I have to wait until Monday to do my cables.

With those LED lights behind the TV, is there a switch behind the TV you need to flip to turn them on or do you get a remote switch or how does that work?

The ones I got just have a switch you can flip, though you can get a remote for them. Some sets come with remote, some don't. I've heard there's also other ones you can buy where you can get a switch that turns on/off when the TV turns on/off.

I just leave mine on constantly now. It provides a good night light, and the longest strand says it is something like 1.75W. Not sure what that comes out to yearly, but it can't be much.

So I cleaned up the wires/cables on the side a bit yesterday when my new rca cable for the subwoofer came in:

Edit - it's a 47" panel and the lights almost go edge to edge.

It's pretty nice, definitely made watching last night easier. I appreciate that I can turn off the rest of the lights in my house, and it does serve as a good night light too like someone else said.

That looks really good, and is a lot like how mine is situated. I guess I should take a picture as well. It's still kind of freaky getting up in the middle of the night and first thinking that I left the TV on until I remember.

A couple of my PM's and site supers have picked those up, now that we've dumped our Telus Mike phones and are just reimbursing guys to use their personal phones. Seems like a pretty decent phone if you want something a bit more rugged than typical smartphones.
