ACKSHUALLY - the used car market isnt looking to go back to pre COVID supply/demand anytime soon. Nor do dealers want it too. But the big heads at car companies are trying to play it safe with leases, so theyre keeping their residual estimates on a lease at generally the same spot. So you can literally lease a 40k vehicle at a 54% residual, buy it back from them at the end of the lease and sell it for the 70% itll actually be worth. But this is the video thread, not a sales tutorial.
