It bothered me that we have dozens of episodes where they can't seem to make it more than 20 miles from Atlanta.

30 seconds into the episode we get "Well, we've made it 500 miles without any problems, only 10 more to go!" Get the fuck out of here...

You have to assume they did have issues. It was 17 days since Beth died. That is about 30 miles a day they moved with vehicles, so between getting fuel/water/food and running into people/things they were slowed down considerably. Just not shown.

The problem(s) with walking dead have never been what they do, but rather how they do it. Once again, we have an episode leaving you with the feeling of, "eh, wtf." You want to kill Tyreese, fine... But take more than 5 minutes to come up with the how and the why. It just feels disrespectful the the characters and the audience.
This is exactly how I felt. I was ok with him dying, but this was a guy who literally took on tens of zombies at once with a damn contractor's hammer, more than once, and yet he gets downed by a tween one who somehow walks silently? I had figured it was a jack and jill bathroom between the two kid's rooms, but in the end he was more than aware that there was at least one zombie in the house. I just don't understand why couldn't they have had him killed by maybe a couple straggling machete bandits who may have been still holed up in Noah's house?

I love that every bite from a zombie in this show hits like 7 veins and lacerates the arm. Limbs falling off due to decayed flesh but those jaw muscles are in the gym every day... but they can't close their mouths when they walk around!

It's bad when Z Nation starts to seem like the more serious, gritty, realistic, honest account of a zombocalypse. Z Nation is campy as hell at times, but TWD is starting to delve into pretentious levels of self-awareness in it's style and methods. What's worse is watching Talking Dead and the dumb fucks pat themselves on the back as they explain all the simplistic symbolism and melo-dramatic tropes they hamfistedly threw into the episode. Ooooh, wow, you mean you intentionally made the viewer think it was Beth's funeral they were showing and the hallucinations/flashbacks/bullshit was Tyrese coming to terms with blah blah blah?! Thanks forexplainingthe lazy ass writing I just witnessed?

I didn't mind the Tyreese seeing "ghosts". I just thought it was stupid that he gets ganked by a low level zombie ;p Then again, Omar got killed by a noob thug, so I guess that is his television fate!

Z nation is under valued/rated. The last 4-5 episodes was pretty damn good and in a overly saturated genre , semi original.

the sad thing is while we thought killing tyreese off with the most overused zombie trope was lazy, the rest of the dummies in this country loved it. so look forward to more zombies with bear trap-like jaws and grand mastery in hide and sneak in future episodes.

I don't care about them killing Tyrese, but that was not a good hour of television. This show is so hit or miss.

Fuck Z Nation. I watched all of it, what nerd won't watch a zombie show, but even in the second half, it was hard to take it serious. I am convinced that the first few episodes are the worst I've seen on a TV show, bar none.

Monica Tyreese killed by a ninja niglet zombie from behind aw hells naw.

No really, that was fucking lame. Entire episode felt like a writer was in a meeting and was like "hey, we should kill somebody."

I guess the only way you can look at it in a positive way is - hey, a super badass that can go beast mode and take on 20 zombies at once isn't even safe in this world. He could have stepped on a rusty nail and been just as dead. What chance does anyone have?

Probably just a setup for the sister to go wacko.

They spend 5 goddamn years wandering around a 50-mile radius in Georgia, can't EVER get any further, and all of a sudden they're going to jump in a car and drive several hundred miles up the coast to virginia like it's no big deal?

Fucking hell, dumbest thing I've ever seen in any show, ever.

This is damn near the equivalent of Walter White struggling against Gustavo Fring for multiple seasons, and then all of a sudden in one episode they just randomly mentions "oh yeah, he died of a heart attack or something, that's over"

That was one of THE biggest sources of antagonization in the ENTIRE show, they couldn't travel very far without running into major problems(people, zombie hordes, whatever) and then they just up and drive halfway up the goddamn East coast.

jimmies rustled.

I sort of thought the same thing. 18 months though not 5 years. I think most of it was they stayed outside the city, once there and after Beth they probably found a shitload of potential vehicles to drive.
The other issue being they was happy in the places they was at until shit went bad. They have already learned however it doesn't matter where you go, either it's dead or living and both want to kill you.

Well, I meant 5 years of watching the show, rather than 5 years of show timeline. Just seems so flippant to just completely throw that whole struggle out the window without even much acknowledgement.
