The fact that this is true despite all of the things there are to ridicule about TWD just shows I have no idea what most people want in a TV show. I would change TWD a lot if I were in charge.

Right now outside of football it cost more than even Big Bang Theory. It is even higher now with the additional millions of viewers picked up this year.
Currently it makes roughly 15 million a episode but only has a 3 to 3.5 million production cost.
