yes, Carol is indeed a badass, no criticism from me on that. when these tough hostage taking chicks started interrogating maggie and carol by telling them stories about their jobs, their men and their kids, my eyes can only roll around so many times in my head before i start to worry about one of them falling out.
Carol has become one of the only characters I'd care if she died on the show.
I'm giving Robert Kirkman credit. It's something he'd be smart enough to pull, and he's been hinting at the big scene from the comics in interviews and such for awhile but in a trolling kind of way. So, I think he's been trying to make us think he'll do things exactly as in the comic, when he knows he's changed it up a bit.
Finally something we agree on.
I think theyneedthe arch villain that they lost in the Governor. They would be doing a tremendous disservice to the series to have a character like Negan that is so highly thought of in the graphic novels, then not include him in a major, major way in the series. I won't spoil anything at all, but Negan is the kind of threat that helps balance the show a lot.
