They stomped that encampment like a team of pros vs. a random casual pub lol. I did like the Polaroids of Lucille's victims in that one room they visited and who looked at them. They are either trolling hard or they still plan on going through with it.

As for the comics, I don't see they would assist people from this point on much anymore. Even to the ones still coming out. Literally from last weeks show onward the comics are mostly decisions and actions and results from those decisions. The whos and whats don't really matter for plot or story such as specific people. You can substitute pretty much any character or place for anything and it'll still be ok. This is a good thing. It allows the show to be itself, which if they did not learn from the past could also be a bad thing.
I'm thinking by end of next season it'll be all new material no one has a clue about and I think that must be the goal. To see if once given complete creative freedom if TWD will continue on into Rocky number 27 or if it is time to just make new adventures elsewhere such as Fear theWalkingDeadis doing.
Either TWD as we know it ends on Season 8 or it becomes Cheers. I wouldn't be shocked to hear at this time next year them announce a new series in a new place coming 2-3 years down the line, in addition to Fear of course.

I don't think I agree.. there's still some major spoilers in the comics, even though they might change up one of the who/where/what/etc.. of it, they are still following the big plot points. I.e. this was definitely an outpost, that's basically straight out of the comics. They vastly underestimate Negan's entire setup the first time, and end up getting fucked over as a result. Once they play along, get more info, etc.. is when they finally beat him.

On a non spoiler note, if you didn't enjoy that episode, and you aren't watching the show simply to make fun of it.. idk why you are wasting your time watching this show then.

The way Abraham broke up with Rosita was cold blooded and confusing, with him packing his bags and leaving in the middle of the night I thought he was leaving the group.
How many men can Negan possibly have left? At least 8 were blown up in the mid-season premier, the two guards, at least 3 in their sleep and more seemed implied, Rick gunned down 3-4 coming down the stairs, toothbrush guy, others Abraham and Sasha killed, however many Rosita killed, at least one was shown when the blood was splattered on the camera, at least 6 outside the armory. Does Neegan just become some sneaky, vindictive little shit?

Didn't read the comics at all and this is purely a guess. I'll spoiler it just in case. It is purely a guess.
My guess that this is a satellite group (symbolism of it clear as day with the facility that they were at), and this was not the full on Saviors army.

I don't likeWalkingDeadattempting to trick me into stopping my fast-forward during commercial breaks. Last night towards the end of the episode it looked like it had resumed, but they were re-showing the initial infiltration of the compound again. It went on long enough that I actually thought "WTF, we already saw this" and then after a while the voice-over kicked in and said something like "what do you think of ricks attack plan? log onto blahblahblahblah.com to discuss tonight's episode..." and then went back to commercials.

AMC does this thing with Comic Book Men where they come back from commercial break for a 15-30 second clip, then go back to commercials. Even if I'm watching live and not fast-forwarding it's annoying.
