I have a love/hate relationship with this show. I like most of the characters but they are literally the fucking dumbest people left alive on a pretty consistent basis.

Realistically sure. For this show I don't think so. Characters are pretty consistently doing things that don't fit their personality to drive the story forward.

I haven't watch last week's episode, but I think I'm done. Again. This will be I believe the 4th time I've quit this show.
The problem is, I watch it but I literally couldn't give a shit about any of it. Not the characters nor the plot.

I have overall enjoyed this show. Yes, it had it's flaws and annoying moments but at the end, I enjoyed much more than I was annoyed by. The only seasons I felt were more of a waste than good were 2 and 5. I know many people liked 5, but I felt like the Hospital section drug the whole thing down, especially when in the end, none of it even mattered, and Beth's conclusion as well as introducing Noah, could have simply been done on a supply run gone bad in one episode. But last night's was so terrible it's going to make what I felt was overall a decent season completely suck. It was blatant that they needed the characters to be in certain situations for the finale that they wrote.

I feel like Gimple is trying way too hard to "right" the TV show's ship to fall more in line with the Comics, except that ship sailed 5 seasons ago and it was obvious to me that this thing was originally written to be it's own entity set in the same basic framework. And after slogging through 2 seasons of it, I'm to the point of being done.

I love how genuinely confused Rick looked when he picked up those hilltop spears.
Has every character had their "im tired of killing people" arc now? i feel like its just a rotation at this point on who is having a moral dilemma about killing each week. this season has been one of the better ones but that is just lazy writing.

Looks like they set this up perfect for the ending in the reddit thread that Fedor posted. you see Lucille in the trailer for next week and Darryl (who is shockingly alive) will be one of the "proposed" victims before the fade to black.

One thing from that really resonated with me; Carol's bipolar-ness. We just had her getting into a huge argument with Morgan about how he was a bitch and she needed to kill people. She was a killing machine. And then in the span of like 3 episodes she became a total pacifist. It was a baffling transformation and there was literally no explanation for it. An episode a few weeks ago had her in the kitchen, and that was basically it. It was bizarre.
And the really strange part is that her wanting to be "domesticated" shouldn't be an explanation. Last season she was doing the same thing and then threatened that little annoying kid immediately after.

They tease us into thinking Maggie is going to bare her ass, then she gets a mom cut, and immediately her baby turns into a zombie.
That was a far better lesson than the "I let someone live and he sort of but not really saved someone!" / "I let someone live and he killed that same fucking person!" thing they were doing with Morgan/Daryl.

Exactly. I had actually written a paragraph about Carol's situation and then a paragraph about the whole Daryll bolting and Glenn, Michonne, and Rosita chasing after him in my original post, but I deleted it as I was just saying verbatim what that guy wrote anyway. I know this show is notorious for people catching bad cases of the stupids quite frequently, but this time they took it way too far for even me, with my lax standards when it comes to this kind of stuff, to even stomach.
Yep I immediately noticed that too. I would think his top finger would get fucked if he fired but I know jack shit about guns. I just figured it was the show doing what it does best, being stupid.
